:lol:I was bullied until the middle of Junior High. In one year I hit a student with a desk (the whole desk, the kind with a place for your books under the seat) and broke his arm, attacked another with a folding chair, grabbed the fire axe (we still had those back in my day) from the emergency fire locker and chased a student off school grounds, knocked a teacher out with his casio keyboard which landed me in the alternative school, and then I got into a fight with a student there and when they pulled me off him I had broke both lenses of his glasses and bloodied his face.
When I returned to public school for High School my reputution as someone not to mess with was pretty well secure except for the jocks, and after a few fights with a number of them they laid off, too.
But yeah I got picked on because it was the 80's and I hated glam bands, listened to punk rock, skateboarded, and worked on computers. Any one of those back in the day made a person a target...at least at Redneck High.

At first I was shocked to learn you attacked people with furniture then I read it was in the 80's and relaxed. Tough story man, they shouldn't have messed with you.I was bullied until the middle of Junior High. Yeah, the 80's were definitely different. I remember a few kids in high school got suspended for a week for having guns in their cars (hunting rifles). I believe such a thing today would lead to immediate expulsion.
Yeah, it amazes me how much people relaxed in the 80's.. They had fire arms in their cars? Wat. That must've been Redneck High, indeed, lol.Yeah, the 80's were definitely different. Yeah, they said it was for a weekend hunting trip. Not that it mattered what they said anyway.
If I had kids they would not attend our public schools in this day and age. It's not just the lackluster education but other students as well. I hate this redneck town and can't remember why I came back after I left it for a decade.

I hit a really horrible bully in my class over the head with a metal chair and punched him repeatedly in the stomach.
I didn't get in trouble for it and the teacher was in the classroom :D.

I'm not even worried about how fast I move as long as I can keep my center of gravity low and stay on my feet. Let the other guy put all the energy into it, just use his punches to put him off balance, then kick the crap out of him.

WWE!!!!!!!Who was the referee???Only in elementary school. Funny thing is, now in high school I'm friends with all the kids who used to pick on me back then. No idea how that happened, but I'm glad it did.
I've been bullied longer than I've bullied. My coping mechanism is taking your anger and compressing it into a tiny sphere.
Insulted, all the time in middle school. Though I insulted right back.
Physically: No, I have made clear what the results would be. Looked them dead in the eyes and coldly explained that I don't fight for fun. If I fight it is for self defence or to protect others. That I will defend myself until they are incapacitated and bloody on the floor. Be KO'ed with a concussion or dead.
I grew up with the same Kentucky parent advice as Johnny Depp.:P
I was considered a delinquent in middle school because I would fight my bullies and end up getting in trouble because everyone would say I started the fight. I was jumped by 20 something people during P.E. class got kicked and hit with a chain. The coaches did nothing about it and some how it became my fault. So I picked up the bench and threw it at the P.E. teachers. I threatened to kill everyone at the school including the staff and my hit list was found during homeroom. Also the maps of where the people lived was also found but since this was way before coumbine it wasn't taken too seriously. I was suspended and had to see the school counselor everyday. I was always just a few pushes away from creating the first massacre at the middle school but I studied harder in martial arts, meditation and my dad helped me as well. Not much bullying in highschool occured as I fought back if I considered the bully a threat.
In elementary school.. probably 3rd grade there was a kid who tried to pick on me one day. He pushed me down or something, I don't remember. He was kind of big. Then the next day I got fed up with his s*** so I Liu Kang kicked him right in the chest lol. He fell into a little white picket fence and the fence broke. He never picked on me again.
It was kind of a sucker kick, but I didn't care. I ran from across the school yard right to him, jumped in the air and kicked him in the chest haha.
I also lived in a tough neighborhood when I was younger, so I would get in fights sometimes... but not necessarily picked on. I can remember I was playing basketball in somebody's driveway, and I beat one of the kids in basketball and he grabbed me by the shoulders and just started kneeing me in the stomach and knocked the wind out of me. I dropped to my knees and he started dropping bombs. I turtled up. That is the only time I can recall being "beat up".
Needless to say, not too long after that I got into martial arts. Started in Karate with my brother, learned some Jeet Kune Do with my uncle, then did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai in high school. I also picked up some wrestling because I have a friend who wrestles. Actually, wrestling is probably the thing I'm the most naturally gifted at.
In fact, this is my favorite story about martial arts. Me and one of my friends were in school, just talking in the hallway. One of our girl friends had for some reason told her boyfriend that I was talking crap about him. Which was a complete lie, as I never even met the guy. Anyway, the boyfriend confronts me in the hallway about me talking crap about him. I just laughed him off and told him to get outta here and started to talk to my friend again. I see him throw a punch from the corner of my eye and I squatted down, picked him up and threw him on his ass. Once we were on the ground I quickly got him in a Kimura arm lock. I held him there with him whining in pain until a teacher came.
I won the fight and made him look like a fool, and nobody was hurt in the end. Gotta love Jiu Jitsu.
Man, some of y'all were bullied in high school? At my high school, I don't know of anybody who was bullied. Bullying seems like some elementary and possibly middle school type stuff.
But high school? Maybe I just went to a high school that didn't really have people who bullied?
Yes. A few punches solved the problem. If they're a lot bigger than you, well, I guess you're out of luck.
Yeah. I fought back, people left me alone for awhile. Now in highschool people don't physically bully me, because they'd get their ass beat, they just throw paper balls and or tease. It's annoying, but what can you do, amirite? Epically when some of them throwing are chicks. Good thing I have supportive friends, so I guess it balances out. IppoTenmaYeah, sometimes those situations are harder to deal with than physical bullying.
I'm a big guy, so people don't tend to do **** like that.
But the people that know me well enough know that I wouldn't punch anybody unless they made me snap like a twig.

If you don't know what Gracie Jiu Jitsu is, the Gracie's are a big family. Helio Gracie invented Brazilian Jiu Jitsu back in the 1920's.

I don't understand what watching this will do, my friend. I'm really just in a situation I can't really do anything about. I'm OK with that, because douchebags are just a part of life, and I need to get used to it. And if I'm lucky, I won't even be near those guys this year...which admittedly probably won't happen. It's not a big deal though.[QUOTE="BMD004"][QUOTE="IppoTenma"]Yeah. I fought back, people left me alone for awhile. It's not a big deal though. Well whatever floats your boat. The video is just a bit of info to keep in your mind. But I'll tell you something, being bullied is never ok. When dealing with douchebags, kill them with kindness, so to speak. If you don't make much of a reaction about it, then it will get boring to them. People do things like throwing paper at someone to get a rise out of them. If you ignore it, then it will get old to them. Please Log In to post.
