Yes I have. I suppose technically twice depending on what you'd class as cheating.

I went out with a guy for 5 years and round about the middle we were going through some tough times, and once during the 'truth talk' after a big major fight he admitted he had gone to his ex's flat and made out with her about a month before, though he had felt too guilty to take it any further and had left.

I didn't care much tbh for several reasons: 1) The relationship was sour anyway (should have ended it really but wasted another two years in it none the less. O well we live and learn). 2) His ex was fat and ugly and not much of a threat in my eyes. 3) It was only a kiss. 4) I myself had kissed several girls at various nightclubs for several months before hand also.

The other time was much more clear-cut. Was going out with a girl around May last year, heard from a mutual friend this girl had been frolicking with another girl behind my back, I went round and asked her straight up if it was true. She said yes, I left, never saw her again.

I had just woken up....and my right hand was completely numb... it felt like it was under someone else's control.

In a way. It wasn't physical, it was over the internet. But I cIass telling some other randomgirl he loves her and would go over and marry her as cheating. On his school email too...

Yes I have been cheated on. It was my first real girl friend who did so. We broke up and I went on my own way.

Sadly, the girl I was the most serious with cheated on me with her tattoo artist who happened to be married, and his wife actually left him until he agreed to cut off all contact with her.

That was the first time I'd really been in love, and I was just so utterly crushed when it all came out during this last Christmas break. She even managed to manipulate me into thinking I'd done something wrong, and then broke up with me (which occurred before I found out she'd actually cheated.)

Until all of that mess went down, I'd never been dumped, so the combination of being cheated on and dumped for the first time in my life really dealt a serious blow to my self esteem for a while. I kind of spent the next week or so in my room, which was more or less the most depressing time of my life.

Luckily, I had some great friends who helped me through it, and after some time passed, I saw her for who she really was and just how cruel she'd been. Now, about eight months and a few relationships later, I'm with a really amazing girl, and I couldn't be happier.
