Have you ever gotten really drunk by yourself...just for fun?

I don't even get drink alcohol, let alone get drunk. I would think I woul do something really stupid if I was alone.

i get drunk to forget mostly. that im 24 and still don't have a special someone. i know pathetic:(

I remember one time drinking an entire fifty of Wild Turkey 101 by myself. My cousin was with me, but he wasn't drinking. By the time I got a quarter of a way through the bottle, all I did for most of the rest of the night was sit at the computer listening to music. By the time I hit the halfway point with the bottle, I pretty much blacked out, but he says that I did some weird stuff: forgot who he was, forgot he was there at all, started talking to myself a lot, and at one point I went out onto the deck and spent fifteen minutes in a patio chair acting like I was driving a car and making "Vroom" noises. At some point in the night he found me fully dressed in the bathtub crying and yelling things he couldn't make out.jalexbrown

It most certainly is, which is why i hardly go out to bars and drink lol.

The cheapest alcohol i can get is either crap $5 a bottle champagne or cask wine. And they both suck and don't get me drunk. Also, i don't know of anywhere in Australia that sells malt liquor. Is it an American thing?

So my wife was sick this past Friday and went to bed at about 9 o'clock. I usually stay up until at least 1, so I was sitting around bored. A friend of mine had invited me to go to a concert, but I would have had to drive there, and I really just wanted to drink a lot.

At about 10:30, I opened up my fridge and saw I had a six of Dos XX, so I decided I would drink beer and play Modern Warfare 2 for a while, something I rarely get to do. About half way through my third beer I realized I had a big problem: I only had three more, and I wasn't even buzzed yet. I had some Grey Goose but decided I didn't really want to take shots of anything that expensive, and it was then that it hit me...I had a half bottle of Jaegermeister in the back of my freezer that somebody had given me like a year ago. Long story short, I ended up taking about six shots of Jaeger and chasing them with my remaining Dos XX, finishing by midnight. So in total, I had 6 beers and 6 shots in an hour and a half and got completely smashed. Modern Warfare 2 ended up being a lot more fun.

The reason I write about this is because it's a rather novel experience for me. I've never just hung out and gotten plastered alone before. I always thought it was kind of an alcoholic thing to do, but I've come to find out that as long as you're not depressed or something, it's actually rather enjoyable being drunk out of your mind by yourself and being accountable to absolutely nobody and for absolutely nothing. I think I might do it again soon.

It baisically tastes like a strong beer. Alot of people don't like it, but I love it. Its an aquired taste.
I drink wine, but only red wine (delicious IMO). White Wine makes me want to throw up. But wine is nice cause it has a high content.

I would assume they have it Aussieland too... Just look for big cheap 40 oz bottles. Some brands are St. Ides, & Olde English (my fav.).

I'm pretty sure we only have stubby's and long necks. There are no 40's sold in bottle form. The only way to get that would be at a pub in a jug.

Yeah, I tend to drink alone sometimes but not always to get wasted. I drink craft beers and I keep a good amount of them since the store that sells good beer is like a 20 minute drive from my place. Sometimes I'll drink more than I should :O.

One time I did it. It was new years eve and I didnt have any money to go out and I hate house party's, plus I was in work at 8 am the next day. I was playing games online with a few mates, they got home early because it was boring out. They were kind of drunk and I felt out of place so I thought I'd drink my dads beer. 4 hours later by 4 am we were all hammered and had a great time :). I got to bed around 5 :/ and was still feelin the alcohol in work, with a mid shift hangover hitting which wasn't good.

This is the only time I have done it though, I never drink at home, I don't even have one pint if I'm alone. Although I am known for getting hammered when I go out... so people assume I like the taste of drink so I would drink at home but I am not sure if I even like the taste lol it just tastes bleh :P

I still live in my parent's house atm so I'm never really alone when I drink. I don't even drink at home anyway unless we're all having a BBQ or something.

Yeah I've gotten hella drunk before (to the point where I ran into a McDonalds while it was technically closed to use their bathrooms) but never alone.
