I currently live in a college town, so I have the possibility of dealing with cops on a regular basis. This weekend was homecoming and the big football game. So police set up random sobriety check points around town, patrolled and broke up parties, etc etc. We were partying at my house and then our group decided to go to another house where they were having a bigger party. We went, undercovers showed up, busted my friend with an underage.
Other time, I was walking home from a girl's house, it was about 1 in the morning. So I made it back and was walking up to my house, and I was stopped by a bike cop in my front yard. Then a car pulls up with another officer. Basically they ask what I was into, had I been drinking, etc etc. I told them what I was up to, and that they had stopped me infront of my house. I gave them my ID, they ran my info, and just gave me a warning. They said they had reports of someone walking around campus looking for a bicycle to steal. I told the officers that'd be pretty pointless since I live off campus, came from another house off campus, and I obviously don't have a bike in my possession. So they let me go on my way after that.
