It disrupts your learning?
In Geometry at the moment and I just DO NOT like the teacher and it is affecting my grades. He doesn't teach at all and just his teaching style is bleh.
Anyone experience this?

in the US, regulars courses (read: not Honors) are mind deadening. that's all I will say.Hewkii
Agreed, standard classes are FULL of idiots (no offense to those actually taking standard classes, just from what I've seen) and teachers who don't care or who can't teach because of the kids who won't shut the hell up.

Sadly, this is an honours class.

Then damn...that just plain sucks.
I don't dislike her but one of my math teachers taught us way to fast. She would teach one thing one day and another the next day. My parents disliked her though.

yes i have my English teacher barely taught me anything and it was a waste of my time but since i had already wasted my money i couldnt just drop it
Teaching takes passion and talent. Sadly, not all teachers meet those criteria. In college, you do most of your learning by yourself through reading - consider that class practice for what's to come. Form a study group or learn on your own if it gets too bad. The more proactive you are about learning for yourself, the more the material sinks in - at least in my experience.entropyecho
Ah thanks for the advice. Was planning on doing that and asking him for tutorials, even though that may not help.
But if worst comes to worse I will ask a friend to help me =D
Maybe in my World History class, but there were two teachers, and students from both classes weren't doing that well.
