Lol i have a teacher now who i know hates me and my friend cos were alway chatting at the back of the class.

Yesterday she came over and picked up something thinking it was a note that we had been passing, when in fact the 2 pages of silly notes were staring her right in the face from my book but she didnt notice :P

Wolls

in my case, it was due to the fact that I was a sarcastic jackass that enjoyed frustrating teachers (a behavior that I regret terribly) -though there was no malice on my part, the results were the same

Well im sure you went the worst kid they have had to deal with

Behavior...No

But I enjoyed making them look foolish
-enjoyed harassing those that I felt were not 'worthy' of teaching me, due to my perceived lack of intelligence on their part
-it subsequently ruined their cla$$oom credibility (to be proven wrong time after time)
-so, in essence, my behavior was far more damaging than kids just misbehaving/back talking
-this is something that I realized as I aged...and regret terribly...if I could take it back, I would

Uhm..Well I wouldn't hate..But strongly dislike. Every time I got up she'd all come up in my ear and shout so friggin loud. When this other kid stood up she'd be just like.. 'Sit down'. WTF?! He's the most mis-behaving student in the whole year, and he gets to go FIRST from the class, I'm guessing it's because skin colors though. No one else really though, because I dropped the subjects I dis-liked anyway so...

No, I haven't hated any teachers. I found some of them troublesome, but I couldn't bring myself to hate them. I think some teachers hated me though.. at least in middle school. I was going through rough times and wouldn't pay much attention. I was never really a trouble maker though. Always well behaved.

I wouldn't say hate but there's been a couple I haven't liked. I didn't get along with my english teacher in highschool and ended up having a big argument and then dropping out of her class. Also I took algebra II over the summer since it was faster and besides being a freakishly boring 3 hour class, the teacher would always talk with his back to the class so it was hard to hear him and he also gave insane amounts of homework. He usually let us out between 30 minutes to an hour early though so he wasn't all bad.

Lets see, there was my 4th grade teacher, who had something against me. Like once I was just listening to her talk when she yelled out, "Why did you just roll your eyes at me???" to me when I never did. This kind of goes on throughout the whole year... 'till I told her off to the principal that is, on Friday the 13th no less. :P

Then there was my 7th grade teacher who was just so ridiculously strict for a 7th grade teacher. The school itself I hated, we had one 30 minute lunch, and no break whatsoever. But this teacher assigned huge essays, a ton of reading/book reports, etc. and graded extremely harshly. I spent a long time constructing a Viking boat for one project from balsa. Sure it looked kind of crappy when finished, but I was a 7th grader, and I had tried real hard going to the library for research and getting together the materials. I got a C.

And this year, I really like my Spanish teacher as a person, but as a teacher he's terrible. We're basically completely on our own with a confusing book and a lot of textbook assignments... and nobody is learning a thing.

most people claim to "hate" someone but really they really just dont like the person. but not to a point of hate, where you literally find no value in their life and just feel all out rage and hatred when u see the person. But i have felt that way about my busdriver. to the point where she could die and i could actually feel good about it.

she was stupid too. literally stupid. Once, in an attempt to humiliate my friends and I, she yelled "All da 8th graduhs in da back of da bus is unmature!" Laughter errupted in a second. and she didnt realize why we were laughing.

and she wrote me up about 5 times, and everytime she did, i looked at the referals and saw her obvious spelling and grammar errors. She was an idiot.

Oh hells yeah. My physics teacher was just awful. If you did bad, he's just abandon you. He'd give you no extra help, no added effort to help you through. He'd just write you off as a numnuts. After my second week in his class he told my parents i was going to fail. He'd also write snide comments on your homework if you got it wrong. Horrible man.

I had a teacher who almost failed me in English in grade nine, just becauseI had to show her where on the schools website I had submitted my assignments. After that she had quoted that my work ethic was terrible and all my assignments would just let me get by with a C-. What a ****.

Sports Medicine teacher I had senior year of hs. She had just graduated college and it was her first full time teaching job. The entire class was filled with jocks that would just screw off and she had a habit of flirting with them. I came into class every day always to find 4-5 guys huddled around her desk while she told college stories. She basically gave everyone an A for just showing up. Most of the time we had class discussions talking about the latest sports news. I learned nothing from that class. Ironically she only taught at the hs for 2 years.

I have had teachers like this. My chemistry teacher freshman year of college was like this. I think he was so used to having students that understood the material that he didn't know what to do when he actually had to help someone who didn't understand a concept. I also had a math teacher like this also. The class was so smart that she hardly had to "teach" at all. When there was a question that came up during her lectures you could tell that it caught her off guard and she would struggle to find words to explain it. I see it happen alot more at a 4 year university but the atmosphere is more along the lines of you teaching yourself anyway.

8th grade English teacher.

I was actually obsessed with hating her.She was just... a very, very stupid person. She couldn't keep up with technology either.

She used a gramophone instead of a radio. I mean, really?

Oddly enough the only teacher I've ever hated was my very first teacher in kindergarten. She tried to convince my mother and the special needs faculty that I was mentally handicapped because I did one assignment wrong (I did addition instead of subtraction on a worksheet). She always hovered over my shoulder during assignments and made me write my answers on the board almost every day (I was extremely shy and hated doing so). Eventually she convinced the faculty that I had to spend a month with a special needs teacher in lieu of nap time...in the end the special teacher concluded that I had an above average learning ability. Now I'm a Junior Neuroscience/Pre-Med student with a 3.9 GPA.

I'll never understand certain people.

I'm also suprised I remember this.

I went to culinary school and there was one teacher (whose class I was not in) who basically made it his buisness to go to the other chefs classes and insult their students. Not in a constructive manner, just outright insulting them at every turn because he could. Thats actually the main reason I left the school. One of his classes were mandatory and he was also a long time teacher there so chances of him getting fired were slim, and I was not gonna survive a semester in his class without smacking him. I'm not a fan of "tough teaching". I don't feel it encourages the bulk of students, just discourages them. And this guy seemed to do it mainly because he outright hated his job, or just because he could. I never hated a teacher as much as him.

I fell victim to peer pressure and joined in with my 7th grade literature class to terrorize our teacher. I wrote in my journal - that I knew she would read - that she was a horrible teacher and needed to be fired. Of course, she contacted my parents... They forced me to apologize to her.

I can't say that I've ever absolutely hated a teacher, but of course there have been teachers I dislike. One of those was my history teacher last year. She claimed that I was talking too much in class, which I will admit, I was talking more than I should've been, but most of the time, thisstudent just constantly kept tapping meon the shoulder asking a question so I was just trying to be nice and helpher out a little bit. So anyway, she called my mom and basically told her I was disrupting class. The next class I had her, I was professional and apologized and everything, and all she did was ship me back to the corner of the room for the rest of the quarter while the other student who kept bothering me didn't even get punished. I didn't really think that was fair :?

Yes. My 5th grade teacher.

On one occasion me and my friend were near the sink, drinking some water while making some Warturtle noises (Pokemon was the bomb in the early 00s) that could only be heard within probably around a yard or so. Right when I was coming back to my seat, she called me up to the front of class, where every student could see. She openly claimed I "thoroughly disrupted" the class with my water "noises". I was shocked and appalled, and I really couldn't get pluck the ability to even say a word. After her continued false claims, however, I had had it. I openly called her a liar, and stormed back to my seat. I was sent to the principal's office, where he sided with me.

Me +1

Crabby old teacher -1

This was one of many of our "encounters."

The story about her having cancer, oh that was too great!

This year, I have this really sour Social teacher, but her husband died about ten or twenty years ago so that gives her a pretty good excuse to be sour. But last year, good God. My Chemistry teacher was psychotic. I literally mean psychotic. She absolutely had to check off that we had about ten things brought to class (not just papers in a binder, actual materials) and if we didn't, she'd give us Hell. Although, she gave us all Hell for a lot of things. If our books were covered in a good way, she'd make us redo it because it wasn't her way, which was a much longer and unnecessary routine that usually fell off in about two weeks. One time, we were doing labs in the back of the room and my friend was bringing a spoon back to the table. It had nothing on it, yet, but then the teacher bumped into him, and he dropped it. She gave him at least two detentions. But the worst part about her were her spaz attacks. A student could just be having a normal conversation with her, and she would suddenly get absolutely pissed for no reason at all and start trying to prove that no matter what, she is right, he is wrong, and had no right to be talking to her. I hated that *****.

Why would your parents force you to apologize about something never said to someones face and never intended for them to read? And wouldn't a teacher get fired for reading a students journal? Thats kinda private.

I hate the english teacher and she was TOO OLD for teaching english in my class and she always not entering the class> Also, i hated the discipline teacher that always forcing students to be accused in some discipline cases eventhough these students didn't make anything wrong and I truly hated that crappy teacher and my brother is always a victim of that crappy teacher when my brother and some of the classmates had been convicted by force by that teacher when one of these students in his class lost her handset eventhough that bringing the handsets is illegal in my schools . Where is the rights of these students to say that there are not convicted in some discipline problems?

Isn't that a bit of an elementary insult? Plus, all teachers give low grades when they have to. It's your choice whether or not you study and put forth the effort to do well.

Anyway, I never HATED a teacher, but I've disliked a few, right now it's my science teacher. As a person, she seems nice enough, but as a teacher, she's incredibly disorganized and corny, always talking about "Succeeding in life" and that crap.

One of my teachers did not accept my project because I did not hand it to her 'at the doorway'. My project was in my backpack and I had my hands full of textbooks, so I had to put my backpack on my desk to take it out. She then told me it's too late since I didn't obey her. But this was still before class started, and she even saw me take my project out. Eventually she told me she will accept my project, but with a 70%. Luckily I ended up with an A in that class. :) She was definitely a strange teacher though. She constantly preached, had on 3-4 inch heels every day, and wore around 15 accessories at once. (3 or 4 rings in each hand, numerous bracelets, 2 necklaces, and earrings) She's also in her 60s. :o

One of my teachers gave us a test.. the directions were 2 paragraphs in length. Somewhere in the directions it said very subtlely that you should skim over the entire test before answering questions. Turned out the 2nd to last question (which happened to be FREAKING # 89!!!) said to only answer up to question 23 and if you answered anything over #23 you would fail the test (we used pens so we couldn't erase). Naturally only 5 out of the 30 students luckily saw that... me not being one of the 5. It was a test that everyone needed (end of the semester), he thought he was being nice by only giving 23 questions. So we all end up with 0s. The school adminstration was not pleased, it took them a month to actually interfere with his grading system and give us all automatic 100s, but all of us were hating him for that one month seeing as how it would turn up as a C on our high school transcripts (not good when applying to college!!). He was fired the next semester for complaints of sexual harrasment and complaints from parents to get him fired. Yea....

Don't think I ever hated any teacher, but I would say there were quite a few out there that I know of who aren't all that effective and/or caring.

On the flip side I happen to like many of my teachers/professors, learned quite a few valuable lessons from a good many of them

No. I liked most of my teachers and tolerated those I did not. Never came close to hate.

My math teacher. :x He's so gay and gives low grades.

jmdude

That's got to be the strangest course to complain about a guy "giving low grades." Either you get the answer right or you don't.
