Yeah. Roadkill. I see it all the time.

Quite a few times. Latest instance I can remember is on the highway. There was a horrible accident and a family including a mother, infant child and father were dead on the highway. I passed just before the traffic jam was about to start and saw everything. Was a gruesome scene and I can remember seeing the babies head, the mother stuck in the windshield dead and the father about 20 feet in front of the scene as he had flown out of the car. Horrible thing, cant forget it :(.

I'm sorry about your friends, but I have to ask. How do you die from underage drinking?

Alcohol poisoning?
I have seen them at funerals, but I don't believe I've seen someone dead outside of a funeral or in a picture. In my forensics cIass the county coroner came in and showed us pictures of her crime scenes...I'll never get those images out of my head. Guy who died on his couch next to a pile of vodka bottles. They didn't find him for 18 weeks. He had literally grown into the couch and floor and there were thousands of maggots living inside of him. She said it was the worst smell she's ever experienced.
And then picture of a guy who committed suicide. He left notes all around his house leaving things to family members, laid down a tarp and cut his own throat with an electric saw.
What they show you in high schools these days...I'm glad I took that course. It made me realize I'll never, ever be able to handle being a forensic examiner, especially after she talked to us about showing up to a crime scene where a man threw his 4 month old against a wall. I just couldn't do it.
We live in a sick world.
Yes I have a drunk driver hit a tree the passanger they put in the ambulance dead they left the driver in the seat with the doors open didn't effect me though don't know why.
In my face? No. In funerals? Yes. I must say if that's what I'm going to get with a casket and everything else, then I'd prefer to be burned. I don't want any potential family members to have to pay some outrageous fee for a wooden box. If its cheaper than just burn me. I won't feel it.
Four times, and not at funerals. One was my uncle who we took off the respirator who was dying of a fleash eating virus that got into his pelvis from his upper legs. I stayed with him, and it wasnt quick nor peaceful like in the movies. Other was my grandpa, but we got there just after he died in his sleep at the hospital. The other two were much more personal. I dont like ambulences nor the ER. I know they do good, and I fully respect the people, but I dont like being around them at all.
Also, while I didnt SEE due to privacy, nor would I, I got to experience alot of infant deaths in the NICU at columbus Children's Hospital during my stay there with my son. Alot of infant/child deaths there. Changes how you see things if your there for 6 months.
yes...i even had to stick cotton balls up the dead guys butt hole!...when i was in nursing school a patient of mine died...i was the low man on the totem pole and yes when you die you get cotton balls probally 15-20 shoved up your butt to keep the poop from running out!
I have touched a dead body before. It gave me chills, but at the same time, it made me value my life abit more.

yea, me too. It also has way of making you accept death a lot faster without grieving. Maybe thats just me though
[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]Did he kill himself? what happened, sorry for the questionsYup, my roommate died and I was the one who found him

its ok.
he had epilepsy. He had a seizure in his sleep.
Im not offended, but on a side note when making assumptions you shouldnt say "did he kill himself?"
on the forth of july a few years ago I saw a couple on a motorcycle get into an accident.. one died on the scene and the other was pronounced dead just a while later, which means they were pretty much dead there as well.
edit. this was at an intercection, anyone there was stuck and had to sit in there cars for a good 15 min just starting at these people lying in the strret.
