Theres this one guy at my school who does and I just makes me kinda sad when I see him

theres nothing wrong with watching naruto.hell, I used to watch it, but wearing those things is like running around screaming "I'M A TOOL!"

Ay_Boo_Boo

People wearing Naruto headbands are no different than people who wear hockey jerseys, logos or concert t-shirts. By your definition, everyone is a tool. I mean the only reason you won't bash a guy wearing a sport's Jersey is because you think its kool or because the general public find its acceptable. That being said I hate Naruto. believe it!

No, wearing certain things will make you look like a tool.

I saw a guy wear a hockey Jersey with a hockey mask, when I was in high-school, Does that make him a tool? No, it makes him a big fan of particular hockey team ( the Maple leafs) but I did not judge him. In fact, he was a nice guy if people get to know him, but unfortunately that was not the case and he was excluded from my fellow students and friends . Its superficial tendencies like this that separates people and causes prejudice throughout the community. Nowadays I see people who wear Jerseys, with all the sports equipment and make up actually making fun of other people because of their own different interests; and yet, these same people are not even reflecting on their own obsessions. Sports obsession in my opinion is no more better than people who like anime. This happens everywhere regardless of interests a person takes, people should'nt be judging them basing them on these small little details.

There's this freshman in my school that wears the whole outfit regularly. I think it's the first time I've been tempted to punch someone in the face for something that wasn't intended to offend me.

You do that? I do the whole pirates vs ninjas argument in a room full of anime fans and Pirates of the Caribbeans fans and let's just say epic moments were witnessed.

Thankfully, no. However, I'm heading to an anime convention later in the year, so there's bound to be at least one guy with a headband.

Bunch of freaks. There's a girl at school who did once and then she performed a kamehame-whaterver-is-its-name. One of the reasons why she doesn't have many friends.

Yes there is a fat nerdy girl at my school who wears one. It makes me feel kinda sad for her but turns out most people dont even know what its from. Then I feel like a tool for knowing.

The point is that they shouldnt be worn. At all.

Yes, unfortunately. At my old high school. He would wear that damned metal headband, ALWAYS eat ramen for lunch, and say things like "You're so baka". Now, this would be hilarious and/or embarassing to witness, but it was particularly bad for me, because many of my fellow students assumed anyone who watched anime was like that guy. Guess what I'm an avid viewer of? That's right. As soon as they found out I enjoyed watching Hellsing or the many other animes that weren't so mindless and didn't produce such moronic fanbases like Naruto, Inyuasha, DBZ, etc., they lumped me together with those idiots. Not that I gave a damn what they thought, but it's not easy to not be amazed at such ignorance.

Wow, that really sucks...crazy anime fans just give anime and sane anime fans a bad name...>_>

Anyways, I've seen a kid wear a headband once at the mall, and then another time at this same mall, I saw a guy and girl walking together dressed as Sasuke and sakura. both of these incidents made me look at them with a "WTF!?" look. :|
