[QUOTE="Memberino"]Oh no, not this kind of thread. Here we get to hear from a load of 16 year olds who think they know everything and are smarter than their teachers. Sigh, gamespot off topic, raise the age limit please.

There is nothing wrong with having confidence, its cockyness that they should avoid.

I do know everything so shut up. =P
But for real I have talked back to teachers only because one made fun of my hand writing, So I told her I was in a car accident and my motor skills where screwed up and I made her feel bad. It was true but oh well.

Yes, and I do it quite often. When I think a professor is overstepping his bounds and being pompous I put them in their place. I'd found myself doing that quite often in the 100 level classes I had saved for my senior year. One professor was so brazen as to claim that global warming was an undeniable fact and tried to shut down debate. Used a simple philosophical argument to push him to retreat. I have no respect for professors who try to indoctrinate students.

I used to be an insufferable, arrogant little **** So yes, before college, I did so all the time. -I did this to teachers that I considered beneath my intelligence level and "unworthy" of educating me. -I also did it to "impress" the girls in cla$$...sadly, it usually worked (don't who that says more about) -it is something that I regret terribly and would take back if I could

1. Indoctrinate them into what?

2. You're saying your class couldn't POSSIBLY deny it  maybe this is insecurity in what you believe.

I know I've gotten off topic in some classes, but I've never accused anyone of "trying to indoctrinate".

I will suggest things but i don't "talk back". Rarely will confrontation with your teacher/professor lead to something good.
