Have you ever used violence

to solve a problem? Has there ever been a situation in your life that simply couldn't be resolved by using words, and physical confrontation was the only option?

I consider myself to be a pacifist, and the only time I've ever had to resort to violence was when I roundhouse kicked my toaster because it wouldn't leggo my eggo, but I hardly think that qualifies.

people want to start fights with me.. telling them to leave me alone doesn't work.. so i've had to use violence

I try and not put myself in that situation, I always talk my way out of it if it comes to that point

Yes, I have. But it's not needed most of the time. Why, the last time anyone wanted start something... the mere *thought* of myself and another person doing something to them caused them to drop to the ground, and cry for help. True story, the guy was 30 years old, too. o.O

I remember getting into a fight with a "special" boy when I was about 11. I didn't take into account he was much bigger than me and he ended up strangling me with his legs.... However these days I only use violence for virtuous acts, gaining street cred and for humour-related purposes.

I had to save these kids from the slavers, and I didn't pass the speach check. The only other way to get in would be to catch some slaves, but I would lose karma. So I raided paradise falls and killed everyone.........................oh, you mean IRL, whats real life again??!

I got suspended for hitting a guy in High School for calling me a spic. He fell, landed on his hand, and broke it. In hindsight I probably only did it because people wanted me to rather than out of pure anger over the use of the term.

I don't usually start the fight but on one occasion I did walk up and throw a kid down some steps and he deserved the beating he got after that.

As a kid, I could get fairly violent with my siblings but other than that, no.

I find that using intimidation is often way more useful and effective than punching someone. If you can get somebody to back down simply by looking at them, I feel extra satisfied than if I had to restort to fisticufs. Violence isn't my first choice, but if it came down to it to protect someone I would.

Sure, a few times actually. One time a bunch of drunk guys were yelling at me and my friends so I called them all a bunch of pathetic losers. That pissed them off. Ended up having to throw a few punches before everyone settled down. Another time, me and some friends were playing soccer and one friend in particular kept grabbing me around the neck and throwing me to the ground. I got pissed off and it ended with him putting me in a choke hold while I puched him in the face. We're still friends though :P

I used to be that type of person that just skips the arguing and goes strait to fighting, but im not like that anymore. I use fighting as a last resort now seeing as talking things out is much better. But if the person really has to get something of their chest then i don't mind fighting, just don't cry like a **** when you lose :lol:

Speaking of.. I don't look as big as I am when I'm sitting. I Kind of slouch too, so I can fit the seat.So a guy comes to my table with some gripe, I don'tknowwhy maybe he thinks I'm someone else or one of his friends is playing a prank on him.I stand up and he sees how big I am so suddenlywhatever his problem had been was no longer an issue, like he forgot. This has happened to me more than once.
