I went to a pig farm and saw a pig give birth...and literally 5 seconds later that pig crushed the newborn with its hind feet and killed it.JigglyWiggly_I lol'd. hard. i lol'd hard also
Or almost die? I have. My cousin was sleeping over at my house and in the middle of the night, he woke up, got out of the bed, and then immediately fell down and started spazzing out. His body was shaking like crazy and his eyes were rolled over and he was choking and blood started coming out of his mouth.
It was the scariest thing I've ever witnessed in my entire life. I was freaking out. At one point, I thought it was just a bad dream. Because I just COULDN'T believe what was happening. But yea...it was a terrible night. Terrible. And I felt a bit guilty. And still do. For reasons I don't feel like saying :/
What about you guys? Have you ever witnessed someone dying or almost dying? I know this is kind of a weird/disturbing topic but I just felt like posting this for some reason.DrakesDeception
What caused that? Reminds me of that story about the girl in the campsite, where they filmed her dancing but the dancing got more and more erratic until she collapsed and died. When looking back at the video they discovered a ghoulish hand clapsing the back of her head.
Oh I've seen a car crash where the car collided head on with another head on after overtaking on a sharp bend. When I drove round the corner I saw a guy hanging from a road sign. I carried on going because I had a chinese take out that was going cold.

Hmmm...I mean I've seen it happen on internet videos but I'm honestly not too sure about actually witnessing a death. No I can't think of a single time I've actually been a witness to a persons death. In a way that's disappointing...Ace6301
its not disappointing at all. Consider yourself fortunate. I know people refer to it as an "experience" or whatever, or something that everyone "must go through", but witnessing death is not nice.
Of course it's not nice. However I am one of those people who classify it as an "experience". I've had to deal the aftermath often enough, it's just the moment I've never witnessed and I feel that a person can experience and gain a new outlook for things. I wouldn't wish death upon anyone but seeing a death is something I wouldn't mind occurring. Also how can I be completely sure death exists if I've yet to witness the actual moment :PI buried my mom earlier this year, and watching someone die definitely isn't an experience that helps you grow. Learning to cope without someone you love and learning to get through life is strengthening experience, which is probably what you're describing as wanting, but to be next to someone and watch them go is just something that haunts you.
Seen videos of actual deaths if that counts. I've seen animals die both before my eyes and in videos as well. I can't say I enjoyed witnissing any of it though, since the videos were either morbid curiosity and the actual death which happened in front of me I obviously had no control over.
Sadly, I have to say yes. Out of the three friends of mine who have died, I witnessed one of them being hit by a car as we walked across the street. I'm not too sure how fast the car was going, but by the times we saw it coming it was too late. He got hit and died minutes later. It took all of my willpower to not throw up or breakdown when I saw him laying there...Ugh, I hate reliving things.
I only saw my grandfather's dead body when I was only 16. And then in May 2010, I saw a squirrel trying to cross the road in front of a car, and I watched in horror as he got hit and run over by the wheels of the car! It was horrifying to see someone get killed!
Also, I have witnessed someone die in TV shows, like Vegeta of "Dragon Ball Z", and even in video games,
like Aerith of Final Fantasy VII, and even Guybrush Threepwood from Tales of Monkey Island.
It's still saddening, though. :(
Not in front of me, but I have seen videos on the internet of people dying. I saw one where these 3 teenagers brutally murdered a guy in the woods with hammers and screw drivers. The forum rules dont let me put the title or link to the video but it was absolutely horrible.
I was at my grandads bedside when he died. Wasnt a highlight of my life.Big_Bad_SadSame here and yeah its a pretty crap thing to have to go through... he never wanted anybody to see him like that.
ive never personally seen someone/something die.
but ive seen a video of a cats head get squashed by a womens high heels. purposely.:| right here on this sight:| very disturbing.
My Aunt died while a nurse kept talking to my family and I asked a couple of times to go check up on her.
Not yet. So far they've either been dead when I got there or died after or during the way to the hospital but I wasn't with them. fastesttruck
You're a paramedic?
on trips to my cousins in Long Island or Canada numerous animals were killed on the road.
My pet dog getting hit by a car...
A man got stabbed on the train...
but the most horrifying was watching a cat kill a mouse
While I was eleven I saw a fire truck hit a car while trying to pass it when it was speeding towards an emergency. The driver apparently wasn't paying attention and didn't move out of the way. The car slammed into a telephone pole so hard the front of the car caved in. I don't know if he survived or not but since this was in 1992 and his car was probably an 80s model or earlier it's doubtful his car had the same safety features we take for granted today. Three years later I almost saw a great uncle die. I was downstairs when he was already sick. While I was down there I heard the ambulance coming. He ended up passing away in his sleep but I didn't witness it happen. Eight years later during the invasion of Iraq I was in a humvee a distance behind a platoon of M1 Abrams in Baghdad when they took out a group of Iraqi soldiers. We got closer afterwards and saw the aftermath of the explosion. One of them had their legs on one side of the road and their torso was on the other side. Other than that, I didn't witness people die in person but we had a situation where we had to recover a vehicle from another platoon who was hit by a suicide bomber. Everybody in the humvee was okay but some of the bomber's guts were spread all over the place. Two of the bomber's fingers were on the hood of the humvee.
So you guys can see thestrals? Nude_Dude+1337 awesome points. And on topic: I have not, I know people who have died but I have not actually seen them die. And I don't want to, seems pretty mind-scaring to me =/
