My Aunt had to go overseas to visit her son for around 3 months, and left her dog with me. He was called, Jackie and was very very old. Since Australia was very hot during the time, he just died of being old and exhausted I guess. Man, it was sad.

ya last week my chiwawa was mauled to death by the neighbors dog So to cope I had to punch a hole in the wall I also told her I was going to get my gun and shoot her dog in the head. I then had to bury it, not fun considering the dog never harmed anyone
[QUOTE="rawsavon"]-cat in a dryerJandurinwtf is this  We had a bunch of 'odd' cats in a row We also had a crappy dryer that would pop open when the clothes were done (some old school craptastic design) So the cat would hop in the dryer to lay on the warm clothes Well one time the cat got in before the clothes were done, my mom did not notice, and...
My family has had a bunch of pets.
2 rabbits
4 hamsters
3 dogs
1 hermit crab :P
These are all dead and currently we have a dog.
Better than in the freezer.....mindstorm

oh yea, I have had many, many pets die...not through mistreatment, its just we have always had pets in my family. Fish and hamsters and cats when little, and then just cats as we got older.
as for handling it, well...I dont want to come out all morbid or anything but I have always handled death well; its just another step in life

my dog was about 18 when she died. it sucks but living things die.LoG-SacramentWow. My friend has a golden retriever that's 23 years old. I think its dieing from the outside in because it looks like its rotting. No teeth and going bald, but he doesn't crap or piss in the house, so they keep him.

when i was like a kid i killed so many fishes. it was sad cuz i didnt no how to take care of them properly
I owned 4 dogs and a cat when I was a kid (over 10 years ago).
All my dogs died of sickness, but my cat died of old age (he was very, very old). I found it extremely hard to get over but I decided to simply forget them in the end anyways. It was too hard just thinking about them.
