In death that is. Family, relative, friend?

I've lost someone I barely even knew. And yet I haven't gotten over her death.:cry: I wonder how hard it would be to loose someone that's really close to you...

No. my neighbor died, but i wasn't his friend, cause he was like 90 years old and pretty weird

Well, I could add that I've lost my grandparents (didn't know them, they died before I was born) and two dogs and a cat.

All my grandparents are gone, my dad passed away a year and a half ago and I have lost a few friends

Doesnt really count if you didnt know them :P but if it did count, yeah my grandpa, and my dad died, but i never met them

My father committed suicide 10 years ago next month. I still haven't gotten over it yet completely. Death is one of the greatest sorrows in life, yet we all know it is inevitable.

My aunt(dads side) from cancer and my grandma and grandpa(mums side). They were my 3 favorite relatives as well. :(

Yea, both parents are dead. Mom's death was probably due to overdose. Uncle committed suicide last month and my grandfather committed suicide when I was young. Good times.

Two dogs, my mum about 3 and half years ago and my grandma last year. You never really get over the death of a loved one, you just learn to accept it regardless of the myth that you do in time.

I lost my uncle, my grandma, and lost my dog last summer. And one of my grandpa's was dead before i was borned, and my other grandma died when i was 3.

Back when my grandmother was alive, we (my dad, my mother and me) used to go over to her house all the time and there was this guy (a friend of hers) that always talked to me and showed me toys. A few years later (I can't remember if it was before of after my grandmother's death, probably after) my dad told me he died, and I actually cried.

My grandfather passed away last year and its pretty hard to cope with it at times. Him and I did a lot of things together, I would see him at least once a week when we went out to breakfast at our favorite restaurant. I enjoyed going over to his house and just talking to him about anything, how I'm doing in college, golf, movies, his time in the Navy/Army etc...I miss him the most on fathers day, for the past so 7 years (and even longer with my dad) we would go golfing, I would always drive with him, and it was so funny to see him get pi&^ed off at the course. One day last year we went out to breakfast, I stopped back at my grandparents house to fix there computer. Well while we were watching TV he had a brain hemorrhage, it was horrible to see it happen, I picked him up under his shoudlers, walked him to the van, got him to the hospital, he died about a week later.
