which is worst? i hate joint pains the worst. i think i pulled my trapeziuis and i can barely move my neck because of the contracting muscles. and it takes like a day for it to go away. a headache or stomach ache you either just take a dump or take a nap and they're gone.

If my muscles hurt, it means I've been working out, which is more of a good feeling than it is a bad one.

I have ulcer...it's not really bad but it's ulcer... And that's the worst kind of pain in the world for me, it beats headaches, tooth aches, joints, muscles...anything...it's just really really bad, I had a lot of sleepless nights, curling up in my bed, not being able to sleep for one minute in the beginning...f****** takes your breath away

Muscle pains can be a *****. One time I woke up and my neck was locked tilted to the side. Worst Day Evar, I went to the emergency room but of course they couldnt do anything so I just had to wait untill it loosened up. I dont get many headaches.. lol, when I do they are mostly bearable unless its like a flu headache. My worst stomach aches though, were so bad that not only did I feel like I was going to throw up, but I would get dizzy and feel like I was on the verge of passing out, so I'll go with stomach aches because my worst ones have effected my whole body and not just my stomach.

Yeah... I know they sounds ridiculous, but sometimes the pain was so unbearable I wished i was just dead.

I'm on a lot of medication now and they have helped control them much more than before. It only gets that bad maybe once or twice a year now, the headaches in between aren't pleasant but bearable. I'm a lot better off than some with cluster headaches where nothing works at all and they just suffer constantly.

I'm going with stomach pain. I have acid reflux so I've had what feels like a strong stabbing sensation in my chest for days at a time.

I would say stomach ache, since I get some really agonizingly bad ones. I don't like headaches either, they keep me in bed. I used to get headaches all the time, but now I don't get them so often. I can keep going with muscle pains though.

Headache. I can at least sleep with muscle pains and most pains medicines can stop it, and a fix for a stomache aches are only a trip to the toilet away (or a bit of Pepto :P). I've never had medicine that actually stops headaches, and they only make me irritable.

It's a pretty even split so far.

Can't remember the last time I had a stomach ache but I have alot of headaches and get alot of muscle pain from standing at work and jogging. Advil liquid gels usually do the trick.

No little one. there's a difference between muscle soreness and a pulled muscle. muscle soreness is good, it means you got a good work out. but a pulled muscle/joint is NEVER good and some can be pretty bad requiring surgery.

When you people say stomach ache, do you mean your stomach (above belt) or your guts (below belt)? Because all my lower pains are my guts, my stomach has NEVER bothered me.

I'd rather have muscle aches to be honest. When I get headaches they are bad, and I've always had a poor stomach. Muscle aches might last longer, but I'd still rather go through one of those.

a stomach ache can go away when you use the toilet boil, muscle pain just causes you to move that specific muscle less, but headaches just make you wanna break your head open......so i'm going for headaches!!

i don't consider muscle soreness pain, since i like that feeling. a pulled muscle seriously sucks. and i got it while wrestling my friend who's like 20 pounds heavier then me.

It depends on how severe the pull is and which muscle it is. There are three grades...ranging from mild discomfort to severe injury. Just like sprains.

What are you talking about? Only torn muscles would require surgery. Pulled muscles are easy to deal with... Just RICE it. The worst stomach ache can cause death...the worst pulled muscle can cause discomfort for a month or so.

Muscle ache, headache, and then stomach ache. Muscles ESPECIALLY if you're in a physical sport. I mean, at that point, it's either sit out and feel like a douche, watching your peers work their asses off, or work and suck at it.

I used to be way into lifting. Now I am into longboarding/rockclimbing. I have had my fair share of pulled muscles. Rest, ice, compression, elevation is all I have had to do and sometimes physical therapy (for pulled muscles). Surgery is for torn muscles, not pulled muscles. Your friend must have torn his muscle or ligament... I have learned to deal with them...I have felt much more painful things than a pulled muscle.. :P

not sure what he had. he got surgery on it because it was nagging pain which was persistant. pretty sure it wasn't torn because you couldn't see a visible tear in his bicep or anything. i lift too, and pain comes with the territory. i'm super careful when doing squats. i've had back problems in the past because of it. i don't touch bench press though.

Well muscle aches I don't mind at all, I don't even really classify as pain. (Edit: I don't recall ever pulling or tearing any muscels, but I'm basing it on random muscle spasms or soreness.) Stomach aches can get bad but I have more experience with bad headaches so that's what I'm voting. I remember this one time where it was REALLY bad, as in not moving at all and resting with no light it still being unbearable. I was young but I took a bit of Advil liquid and I was laughing when the pain was gone because it was so relieving.

If he had chronic pain, it's likely he did something more than just pull a muscle.. Perhaps it was extremely close to a tear.. You don't have to see a tear. I have torn both of my ankles and there was no way of seeing a literal tear.. Just severe swelling/bruising and not being able to use it. :P I haven't lifted in about four years, but I have pulled muscles by lifting more than I should have... I was about 145 pounds benching 230... Not good. Squats is a very sensitive exercise...you HAVE to have perfect form to be safe. I assume you know this from having back problems.

I assume you know this from having back problems.

yeah i learned my lesson. and i wasn't using a weight belt either which was worse. and wow benching 230 at 145 is brutally strong.

not sure what he had. he got surgery on it because it was nagging pain which was persistant. pretty sure it wasn't torn because you couldn't see a visible tear in his bicep or anything. i lift too, and pain comes with the territory. i'm super careful when doing squats. i've had back problems in the past because of it. i don't touch bench press though.

Belts save backs.. I hate seeing people squat ridiculous amounts without safety gear.. It is just plain stupid. Yeah...that was my max. I have no idea how much I can bench nowadays, but definitely not that much anymore. Not even close. :P Why do you avoid benching?
