Bring on Clayface.

yeah, i hope its not just 2face. I don't really like that guy as an actor that much. Well, hes fine as a cop or whatever, but i don't see him as a villian. They need someone as good as heath ledger.cole_793
Yeah he played the good guy role really well, but when he became two face he wasn't as believeable. As far as the villian goes for the third movie, i think Moroni will have a big part in that. One other thought; The comissioners son better not become robin. Robin would ruin this series for me.
I'm really torn. The Joker is such a great character, especially the much darker version of him in this film, but then again, I agree that Heath's performance was so good, he will be hard to replace. And really, it might be better if they just let be his final film, and for the next one they can use the Riddler, which I think is the best Batman villain after the joker.
But it really is a shame Heath died, they could have made a great second movie with him and Bale, since he is definitely the ultimate Batman villain. As he said, Batman "completes him".
Ledger was awesome. He owned that role so i would prefer if they don't replace him and move on to another enemy. and I like what they did with Twoface dying at the end. They started and finished his story in one movie rather than dragging it out over two.
IF they make a third, i would like to see Poison Ivy or Catwoman. Or reinvent Mr Freeze and Firefly as hitmen that have been secretly hired by the city to hunt Batman. Just thinking outside the box
From what I have seen of him, Heath Ledger looks impressive. I dont see why he cant be replaced though, he wasnt the best actor around. I can see someone like Paddy Considine or Rutger Hauer doing a great job. Though Rutger Hauer is probably a bit old now. Film-Guy
You have to see the movie in full to realize just how incredible Heath was as the Joker. I don't see anyone replacing him performance wise. I mean he seriously took a character and BLEW AWAY Jack Nicholsons portrayel of the character which is something never done before. He blew away one of the most legendary actors of all time which is just insane.
Johnny Depp is the only conceivable actor I could imagine taking over the position.
I was EXTREMELY disappointed they killed off Two Face so quickly...jesus what a botched opportunity for some good character development in a third movie. He was such an interesting character. They should've downplayed Harvey Dent/Two Face's role in TDK and spent more time on him in a third movie. Plus, they could hypothetically stop making more Batman movies as of now, the ending of TDK was such that it didnt leave it wide open for sequels.

As far as I know he signed on for the third film, the guy who played two faces role.

I know its such a damn shame that he had to die because was a killer performance. Probably one of the best I have seen in a long long time.
My guess is Twoface didn't really die, and the Joker and Twoface double up against Batman.
AND THE MOVIE WAS AMAZING
best part was when the Joker blew up the hospital, turned around shrugged his shoulders, slammed the detenator and boom

Two-Face was really quite dead. If you notice they had a funeral for Harvey Dent in that little string of scenes at the end. Plus it would make Batman's sacrifice of taking credit for the killings completley moot.

He fell out the window onto the ground, man. He's dead. If they made him alive again, the movie completely loses its realism. They should end it right there. If they don't, I'm not sure it'll be good again.
it wasn't a long fall. remember that batman fell from the same place.
I'm getting pretty tired of all these ****ing threads about the Joker. I'm also tired of seeing everyone having Joker avatars and sigs.FrozeN__54
hey man i made this one on the day the movie came out and i dint see many other threads about this when i posted this

Dent needed to "die" to preserve the image for the public and keep the ppl he locked up in jail. Batman took the fall for the crimes so that there's never any trace of Dent's actions. But Dent/Two Face isn't dead.

Yeah, I don't see why that's so hard for people to understand. I mean that's even explained in the movie.
third movie they have to bring catwoman in because Rachel is dead and there has to be some sort of love interest. I also think they should bring Robin in but quickly convert him into Nightwing so he can at least be some sort of badass. The main villian is hard to predict because Dent could technically come back and than theirs also the chance of say a Riddler, Bane, Mr.Freeze, Poison Ivy etc. The only villian i never wanna see again is penguinWii_Fitness

You do realize that Batman is wearing a suit?
He fell from a much higher height earlier in the movie. It's pretty obvious that Harvey Dent is dead..
Did anyone else love the disappearing pencil trick? Best part of the movie.cell_dweller
That scene is my favorite.

Of course!
"Tada! It's......it's gone.."
I dont see a reason to bring back the Joker even if Heath Ledger was still alive, its always better to keep moving on with new villains.EVOLV3Exactly i mean look at Scarecrow he was in the film for what 10 seconds, the should bring back a famous villian say The Riddler with a lesser known villian like Firefly. Also Catwoman has to be in it in order to give Bruce/Batman a love interest. Maybe Nightwing should be in the third film as well??? I rather them skip Robin altogether and bring in Nightwing or not bring a sidekick in at all. Might I add for God SAKES NO PENGUIN!!! he is possibly the worst villian in the series
