[QUOTE="Saturos3091"][QUOTE="Juggernaut140"]I've been listening to metal for about 10 years. I'm pretty sure I'm not the noob here Arghoslent Septic Flesh

Two great suggestions, although you'd probably want to start with Septic Flesh first (Communion and Sumerian Daemons albums, then Ophidian Wheel). And PS: Juggernaut, I checked out Arghoslent a bit ago thanks to your posts and I'm loving their Incorrigible Bigotry album.

Incorrigible Bigotry is my favorite album of all time :D

And rightly so. Definitely one of the better metal bands I've found in the last few weeks. Been really disappointed with some of the stuff I've come across recently (Catatonic Atrocity and Abysmal Dawn come to mind...).

As fantastic as Opeth is, if you have to try to get into a band, they aren't for you.

Guppy507

Not true neccessarily.

I have had quite a few bands that I have hated at first, then when going back and listening again I loved them and Opeth was one of them (They are one of my top 3 fav bands BTW).

I actually have grown to like Iron Maiden alot more recently...
