Centipede's only bite when you mess with them so just ignore it. Freaking out and trying to kill it will only provoke it to bite if you don't manage to.
1st thing you should go talk to it then see want it likes you might have allots in common you can go fishing tougher go to Hollywood and because it is a bug it can go in your pocket put be careful other people may want this bug to fall in love with them but don't worry it's a Centipede there magical they bite off the heads of 100's in 3 seconds did you know the U.S.A used Centipede in World War 2 to stop the nannies from summoning the mighty god from castle Wolfenstein but not only do they like food but they also like ducks you know to ride and stuff to . hmmm oh don't forget there magical so if you forgets it's birth day you are screwed but don't worry they eat at your flesh when they 1st see you it you say hi so you have eat some of it to earns it trust when it comes to jobs they need your support so always be nice to it they get Moody sometimes but just fly around a tree for awhile and that will make it happy so don't worry you can make it your B$%#^
I dont think a little tiny bug is going to kill you....I do not know how much you weigh or anything, but I'm pretty sure you weigh a little bit more then a little centipede
Hunt it down in a one-on-one showdown like in the movie Predator, set traps for it as it unsuspectibly slithers along the floor. Then when the trap captures the vile creature, tell your family to "GET TO TEH CHOPPA!!" because the bug has an inter-dimensional bomb that will suck your house into a wormhole.
As you are evacating the house, the house will suddenly implode on itself and the centipede will let out an evil laugh that will haunt you for many years to come.
Thats not so bad. Me and my friend once saw a spider the size of a saucer. You could hear it walking and when my friend squashed it with a bat you could hear it really crunch. Sounded more like squashing a rabbit or small cat than a spider. I'm not sure about you US folk across the pond but this was in the UK and thats why I found it so strange to see one so big.
