Protein.

That'll make you gain weight like crazy.

There are like protein powders you can buy and add to your drinks and whatever.

My friends brother was trying to bulk up for football and he drank masses of protein shakes and gained weight really fast.

Just eat more. Essentially if you eat more calories than you burn, your gaining, and the opposite for less. You can eat a lot and gain weight, without jeopardizing your health with fast food and what not.

Weightlifting and protein powder after every workout. 100% Optimum Whey is the best whey protein out there. Healthy fats are also good from meats, eggs, fish, nuts, etc. I am also trying to add on weight. I am trying to go from 200 to 235 or so before I try MMA out.

Wash down two bowls of instant oatmeal with a Slimfast shake every night immediately before retiring to bed... (no, I'm not kidding...) This method was prescribed by a physician for my brother who was built the very same way that you are (6'4" 145 lb). Lemme tell you - it worked and it worked fast... But seriously though, don't attempt any type of weight manipulation regimen without first consulting your own doctor...

Peanut butter mixed into a whey shake is another great way to get healthy fats and the protein for right before you go to bed.

Eat lots of nuts and seeds. Almonds, peanuts, walnuts, pumkin seeds, flax seed, various "butters" (peanutbutter, almond butter)

All have lots of calories, fat ( the healthy kind that's good for your heart) and protein. Just add a handful/spoonful to a couple of meals, and shovel some down before bed.

Before going into any diet or excercise routine I would make a list of all your goals showing how much you want to gain and how much muscle mass you want so that you are able to A) stay on it and B) not gain bad weight.

Don't just gain fat, if you want to gain weight gain muscle by eating a proper balanced diet with some protein and working out. I'm 5'11 though and 135 and I would not change anything

weight lifting. doing heavy weight with few reps will help you build mass (and when i say few reps i mean like 6 each set). plus taking protein after your workouts will help your results. id suggest whey protein. also you could change up your diet. eggs, meat, etc are good foods to eat. plus if you dont already, 3 meals a day. btw how old are you TC.

More than 3 meals a day. If he wants to add on mass and bulk, he needs to split into 5-7 SMALL meals throughout the day. Also have 1lb of protein per 1lb of your bodyweight.

Another thing is to get between 8-10 hours of sleep. Your muscles recoup and grow while you are sleeping and without it you will not do much in terms of growing bigger.

Yes! Working out is crucial to getting bigger. If you are not willing to put the time in the gym working out and do nothing, but drink protein shakes and eat PB, do not expect great results. If you ARE willing to put forth the time and effort you will make great progress.

You know who just drank protein shakes in order to gain some weight? So what happened to good old Clay Aiken... Ugh... I'm not trying to offend anyone but it's a word of warning, eating just to gain weight isn't the best idea.

Protein, lots and lots of protein. Avoid taking in too much fat, and do some sort of exercise like weightlifting of push-ups. FAST FOOD=BAD.
