I have a LANconnection cable between my pc and my laptop, so i connected them, did the network setup wizard, and i can share files. So i want to share my internet connection and i didthe network setup wizard (i selected the first option which says to share internet) and i wrote the ip adress on my pc: 192.168.0.1 and n my laptop i wrote: 192.168.0.2.

But when i connect the internet on my pc, the internet on my laptop doesnt work... Why???

Both IP's have to be the same. You changed the last number to 2. Leave it at 1 or whichever is the original.

On the properties of my local area connection on my pc i write: IP ADDRESS: 192.168.0.1

SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0

DEFUALT GATEWAY: 192.168.0.2

and on my lapop i just switch the ip addres 192.168.0.2 and gatewat 192.168.0.1

When i go to netwoek connection it says that the laptop shared the internet from the pc it says its connected, but it doesnt work. it worked before... but i dont know why not now :(

you have your PC and your laptop connected to each other directly? i've never heard of doing that. the most common method is to connect both to a router. the router provides NAT (Network Address Translation) to all devices on the LAN side of your broadband modem. when you use a router, your PC and your laptop will have different IP addresses in a 192.168.x.y subnet.

maybe if you could explain your setup in more detail....

both systems need to specify the same gateway. only one system is the gateway in an ICS setup.
