No, legally I'm not required to. If someone accuses you of breaking a law, it's their job to prove it. This old man did not have to prove his innocence, he's to be assumed innocent. Until there is sufficient evidence to prove his guilt, he is not guilty. This officer attacked a man, without proper cause, and as such, his actions were unlawful. If someone is unlawfully detaining, or physically touching you, or a loved one, without consent, you're allowed to defend yourself.Nibroc420

cops tend to feel the need to do things like this to make themselves important.......its like u give them a tool (gun) and they feel they need to use it...but when there is no rational time to use the gun, they still use it, just satisfying their adrenaline rush

But I think in a situation like this(maybe you should watch the video so you can see what I am talking about) defending yourself against the officer seem perfectly fair. And for it to be against the law for his nephew to shoot those cops if he had a gun would be crazy. If he shot both of them it would seem perfectly justifiable to me.Ugalde-
