I wish my dad forced me to play football. I wish I would've played sports, TBH. Now I'm just gonna be a lame senior who does nothing :( .gasmaskman

There's a reason they have to do it... I'd sacrific that to play football, or baseball (what I really want to play). You have to sacrifice things to be good in sports, and I'm willing to take that sacrifice, but it's a little too late for me.

I don't know why, but practice was my favorite part. I just loved to play so I never cared bout coaches.

How can you hate football? Its a fun athletic sport you can play with your friends and teaches you how to deal with pain while learning some good ethics. I hated baseball when i was young, but i grew to love it. Dont be a quiter.

I told my father the same thing with baseball, and he took it well. of course, I moved on to Football(the fun kind, not 90 min. of running around like an idiot chasing a ball).

To TS...just talk to your dad...I'm assuming your afraid of disappointing him, but he's your dad, he'll understand that if you don't want to play, then he shouldn't force you. My dad kind of had to force me to play Soccer or the Piano sometimes because I'm the type that just needs a good kick in the ass for motivation and I love playing both. I'm glad I didn't quit either of them. So think it over and have a talk with him.
