I don't like the idea of homosexuals getting married because marriage, (at least from the Christian POV) is a sacrament between a man and a woman. Breaking that trend is quite sacriligious and offensive to the religion I believe in.

I'm all for civil unions though. Either way, it doesn't directly affect me so I'm not too bothered by it.

And homoesexuals do not like the christian POV. Look at it this way, now please dont be offended because Im just stating my opinion. If your God (Im athiest btw) was all loving and fair as the bible suggest, then why would he discriminate on the little issue of sexual preference? I cant seem to comprehend it. And if you think thats the only reason I dont believe in God, youre sadly mistaken. But lets stay on topic.

Its obviously not a little issue if it happens enough, it could doom the human race. Non reproduction if you catch my drift.

Uh. How do you figure that? Homosexuals do not comprise enough of any population to mean humanity's over. And if that happens, tell you what, we can have homosexuals donate the sperm and eggs to ensure our continued survival.

I see em all the time on Jerry Springer.....I have some doubts about if its real. BUT. I saw this one engaged and underaged episode where two girls were getting married. It looked pretty dang official. So, wtf is going? Oh yeah Im against homosexual marriages. Its just wrong.

Why should you care if gays get married? How does that affect you? Its not like when ur mowing your lawn and a gay couple **** each other infront of you, or when ur eating cereal, and another gay couple touch **** with each other on your table. I dont see the logic. And some stupid mothers complain: "but how am I gonna explain to my child?" WTF? Two people shouldn't be happy together because you dont want to talk to your ugly child? And it absolutely blows my mind how its is still illegal in some states, what ever happened to separation between church and state?

Btw this is from Louis C.K. He should receive credit for being a great comedian...

Im not into religion, but Im still against it. I mean, comon, how far are we going to go? Even if you believe in god or you dont, its pretty damn obvious that the male and female were made for eachother.

Well, if you're not religious, I guess you wouldn't say people are made at all. But in any event, it's pretty damn obvious that homosexuals just are not into the opposite sex...what are you going to do?

Alright Ill say they are obviously compatible. Your last statement I just wont answer, youre going somewhere else.

[QUOTE="ChicaQueenWarGa"]It's equality. They didn't chose to be gay...They just areQUOTE]

i have a gay friend named kevin and he said that gay people can choose to be gay.

also imo gay people should be able to get married,i dont mean to sound corny but its love that counts. but i disagree with all of you for persecuting his opinion, unless hes just a troll.everyone has the right to say wether they think gay people should or shouldnt get married, there opinion is just as good as ours.

guitboxdude25

I think you misunderstood what your friend said about choosing.

They're legal in some states. Now do us all a favour and never return.Bourbons3
It's legal in one state, and a few other ones have civil unions.

If the bible didnt say no to homosexuality, a WHOLE lot more people would be openly gay Why just not go with the way nature intended??????? People like to say that animals(Hmm, comparing animals to human beings) have homosexual tendencies sometimes, but yeah, they end up mating male and female at the end. Besides, we are thinking logical beings, why compare to animals?

First, humans are animals, but I'm guessing you are religious so you don't believe that, so nevermind that then.

Second, they don't 'end up mating with a female in the end'.

Third, obviously male and female is the best for our survival, but who gives a **** really, homosexual people are born liking their own sex, just like heterosexual people are born liking the opposite.

[QUOTE="detroitpistons0"]WTF is wrong with u?!? How is gay marriage wrong? Shouldn't everyone be allowed to love whoever they want? I'll take something from Family Guy: "So if 2 people hate each other then they have as much right to be together than 2 people who love each other?" Those were some wise words.C-o-L-o-U-r-S

People arent born gay its just the way they grew up. A man that grew up with like only a mom and 3 sisters, he has a higher chance of becoming gay I've read this in the library.

No you didn't. If you did, that book lied to you. No one knows what truly causes homosexuality, and it's not something that can be changed, so any of your arguments against it is going to crash and burn.

So not agreeing with gay marriage makes me a communist now?Do you even realize that you people are the most hypocritical of them all? You have torealize that we live in a free country where we are allowed to believe our own beliefs and when you don't agree with them "move to a different country because you don't completely agree with everything" is the most ridiculous andignorant thing that you can say. Move to a different country is only a valid response when someone has a problem with the majority of the freedoms that we value. It's alsonot your choice that you'rea lotof things and homosexuality may be one of them, but that doesn't mean that you can't suppress it and go on with your life.

You people are so ignorant? Why doesn't God just go and do away with this whole sin concept and just let as kill and rape whoever we want with no consequences! Homosexualityis a sin, just like stealing and murdering and cursing and skipping mass on sunday.
