HI! What is your opinion of Obama?

What do you think about him? I think he is a extremely lefist and even a communist.

I think he was the right choice but will never live up to the 'change' hysteria. Not that he's to blame for that of course.manicfoot

He is hotter than McCain.

Everything else regarding whatever persona he projects to the public - i wouldnt have an opinion.

Honestly, I feel a little bad for him because he just seems doomed to fail due to the massive hype. I mean there are really people out there that believe that their life will automatically be better because he is President. I'll give him a chance because he is my President and I don't won't to see him fail, but if he plays constant footsie with Pelosi and Reid, then God help us.

I think the people most upset with Obama are the die hard right and the die hard left. The far right is probably mad because Obama said he was going to have a bipartisan adminstration, and if I'm correct, he as appointed only 1 republican. The far left is a little ticked because Obama is appointing old Clinton cohorts instead of extreme liberals and wondering where is the "change".

IMO, over the course of this election season, Obama's definition of "change" is what changed. During the primaries, his definition of change was basically change from politics as usual. He was going to be this different and new type of politician, and that's why he won the primaries over Hillary. He was seen as the new type of politics, and she was the old.

However, his definition of "change" changed when he picked Joe Biden, someone who has been in the Senate for 35 years. After that, the definition of change was defined as a change from George Bush. It was no longer being this different and new type of politician. And that's why you have some on the left a little perturbed. If Obama is just appointing old Clinton cohorts and providing change that way, then why didn't we just elect Hillary to be the Democratic nominee because she could just as easily have done that? I agree appointing old Clinton cohorts provides change from George Bush, but it does not and will not provide change from politics as usual.

I don't trust him. But I don't trust ANY politician. I think he's a left leaning guy, but he doesn't support gay marriage, backs faith-based policies, and isn't adding far left people to any of his administrative posts. So he ran on a left ticket but will most likely govern in the center.

I'm not one of those people who believes he the best thing in the world just because he's a great speaker and black. He hasn't done anything yet, but I'll give him a chance. I'm not going to give him a free pass though like a lot of people.

Obama is a smart man, and you know what, even if he is an eliteist, thats good, because you don't want joe the plumber as president. All of you nay sayers, stop watching fox news. He is not a communist, even if he was there is now way he could make america communist. As far as his position on abortion, he can't change the law on his own, and even if he could, he wouldn't, I believe the supreme court has already spoken on the matter, so too bad so sad for people who are pro-life i guess, until every judge on the pannel is a right winger.

But no matter what his position on anything is, he will get assassinated, it's unfortunate, all the good presidents get assassinated(JFK, Lncoln), and for a different reason then the forementioned presidents, he'll get assassinated solely because he is black, and when that happens I'll be sad, to see such a great man die for nothing because of biggots. If you don't believe me, there has already been at least 1 assassination plot foiled by the authorities.
