It is IMO the actors responsibility to tell the directors when they have been given really crappy lines and to suggest changes... you know somethinga normal human being would say...

Parker Posey. It wasn't totally her fault that Blade Trinity was an absolutely godawful end to the trilogy, but she sure didn't help save it. All of her scenes were chock full of painfully bad overacting, which I thought was partially due to the director until I saw her in Superman Returns and a few other movies. It's just her. There's something frightening about her mouth too.DJ_Lae

He also seemed good in Meet Joe Black, however I think the superb script and general flow of those movies made him seem better than he is. Take Se7en for instance. I love that movie, but I think Pitt's acting was terrible.
