Can't say I'm a huge fan of hers, but I don't see anyone beating her. She has a commanding lead in the dem primaries and I stronlgy doubt the nation would elect another republican president for a little while.

What are your thoughts on her? This is an open question to US citizens, Canadians, Europeans, Australians, etc. Anyone.

I think there is a chance she could become president becausesomeyoung people are brainwashed by something to think that they should vote for her because she's a woman -.- If anything, I don't know why some people vote for a certain canidate without saying anything they agree with that canidate

I'd vote for her. I'd rather vote for Obama or Edwards but I'd vote for Hillary if she was an option.

Her Iraq stance. I think she needs to think that out more. Her answer to the Iraq situation was "George Bush got us into this, he should get us out. It's his responsibility." Granted, I agree that the Iraq war was not wisely thought out and I disagreed with our reasons for going there. However, as leader of this country, you can't play the blame game. She needs to lead and come up with a real strategy or solution to that situation. It's extremely difficult and complicated and we need someone who will develop a sound and well thought out plan, not just cater to the public and go with an easy out.

I agree with her goals of getting a national health care service, but I disagree with a lot of her reasoning on how to achieve that.

I'm more of a free enterprise believer, but I do believe their needs to be some regulation to make it a fairer playing field. She needs to do more to re-establish the middle class in this country.

honestly who the hell likes her, how the hell is she doing so well in the poles???? I think her success is mostly BS, and it seems like the only people that like her are those that want a female president (no matter who), or those that don't know crap about politics.

Anyway when it comes down to it the run for president is pretty much just a match of who's the coolest canidate. Just look at past elections:

Bush vs Kerry - kerry was seen as overly intelectual, Bush as the Southern cowboy posteboy of 9/11

Bush vs Gore - Gore was as stiff as a bored w/ much less personality, Bush was a failed daddies boy.

Clinton Vs Dole - Dole came off like some cranky old guy while Clinton was pretty much as cool as a Kennedy.

Clinton Vs Bush - Bush was shafted by florida hurricanes, and didn't have the public speaking skills to change his image (like father like son) basically anyone the democrates ran was going to win.

I don't follow Politics closely but I don't really like any of the Candidates, but Hillary would be the one I wanted the least. I just plain don't like her, I'd take more of Bush than her if it was possible. I hate her that much.

I would vote for Obama myself but if Hilary wins I would be happy as well because we basically have bill back in office again and you know she will run him into the ground in diplomatic missions. :)

She affiliates herself with anyone or anything that is popular during the moment (including people like Jack Thompson), and is extremely disingenuous.

I would never vote for her.

Why would you vote for Hilary Clinton? She wants to censor violent video games, but refuses to restrict pornography which is endlessly demeaning to women. Despite what she thinks, she won't be respected by any Islamic nation anywhere in the world, although a few of them might pretend. She's going to try and socialize some huge contributors to our free market, which will cause millions of people to lose their jobs and destroy the economy in the process. She won't even let the public to see her full record as first lady, and yet that's what she's running on.

I also disagree with her on just about every social issue you could think of.

I think the dominant image that the media has given her is way way exaggerated. She will not get elected.

Ron Paul isn't going to win, but I'll vote for him if he's the rep. frontrunner.

The fact that he's (or anyone else from the GOP) just going to be labeled Republican would cost him.

She's far too conservative for my taste, but she's better than any republican candidate out there; pushing at least some form of health care reform, and an economic plan to help the middle class is good enough for me.

She only wants people to have to be 17 to purchase mature games, and 18 to buy adult rated games, it's just like restricting porn, and yet she gets heat for it, and you have to be 18 to purchase porn so I don't think you know what you're talking about.

and the only thing that she'd make steps towards in socializing would be our health care system, which desperately needs it, we have the worst medical record of any country in the developed world because of it. (worse than cuba, yet people seem to just ignore this) Socializing it wouldn't cost any jobs, but it would save alot of money for those paying for medical treatments, and if you'd studied economcis you'd know that currentally the perfect goverment size is unknown for economic reasons. however it would save many lives.

Keep in mind that over 18,000 people die every year because they can't get the health care they need because they can't afford it, many children. Meaning we're willingly allowing the equivilancy of more than 3 1/2 9/11s every year. Seriously if you were given a choice to stop 911 would you? How about 3 or 4 of those every year?

Not to be sexist or anything, but having a woman as our president would symbolize weakness to other countries where men are definetly more dominant, and they wouldnt want to get involved even more with the U.S. or just not listen to us (not that everyone should). plus, most democrats arent really liking her that much, are they (we)?

Plus the Jack thompson is strong in that one.

she's not my favorite candidate, but if she wins the democratic primary I would vote for her unless by some strange turn of events Ron Paul wins the republican primary
