@Maroxad: you can deny all you want. The archeological evidence is overwhelming and matches up with the histories written by both the romans and the egyptians before them.

@Riverwolf007: Herbrews were there, but they were one of many cultures, in that area.

If anyone here is in denial, it is you. That region could be split up into 2, Giving both the palestinians and Israelites their own seperate states. While The palestinians were never a particulary hgue population. That doesnt change the fact that they have existed there for quite a while.
@Maroxad: if a long time to you is from 1968 then yes. They have existed for a long time.
So apperaantly the palestinians who were there fighting in the 1936-39 Arab Revolt did not exist then I guess.
And what exactly was the British Mandate for Palestine?
Oh and I can go back hundreds of years to prove they have been there for quite some time.
@hillelslovak: It wasn't vague, it was straight forward.
Fyi, the real reason is that they are our only real ally in the region and we need them to spread our influence and act as a buffer. Your moronic rant was way off
This dude has it right. We need an ally to spread our influence. That is the political reason. Several Americans (like me) support a foreign relationship with Israel because it is God's Holy land, the Jews are promised the land, and we don't want other interests taking over the country.
If it's such a holy land, would you not support leaders who don't cover it in blood?
@Maroxad: Wont work. Palestine wants Israel as a whole. And Jews have been there before Islam even existed.
@hillelslovak: Way to ignore a whole other side to this and blame it all on Israel. Anti-Semite.
Pfft haha. Right. Since I dont support a supremely right wing, autocratic government that puts Jews in danger with it's policies, I must be an anti semite. Good job, Ted Cruz.............
@hillelslovak: lol. Right over your head. Know we know you are a troll. Go to bed kid, all this screaming must have tuckered you out.

Kid? I'm 29. Tell me exactly how I'm trolling. Please illuminate me, sir.

Name Calling. Typical.
Ironic isnt it. You accused me of being condensending in the past, yet in several of your recent posts you have done nothing but insult other users AND name call, without actually attacking the contents of hteir post.

You do realize a good ammount of them actually want a 2 state solution right?
Of course, increasing tensions probably reduced that, but back in 2014, the majority of palestinians wanted a 2 state solution, that seemingly dropped in 2015 though. Most likely due to deteriorating relationships. The real issue here is getting Israel to agree, where roughly 35% of Israelites supported a 2 state solution last I heard. Right now, the 2 state solution is currently unfeasible. Which is why we need to build up a relationship between Israel and Palestine for this to be possibly feasible again.
As for the other part... well duh. Judaism is much older than Islam, by around 1000 years. But are you stating that it is religion, not actual population group that determines whether or not they have a right to live there? I was talking about Israelites and Palestinians. Not Jews and Muslims, and the fact is Palestinians were around there long before they converted to Islam. Try again.
Hillary is unscrupulous and unethical and immoral
Should be pushing for a 2 state solution to end the violence, not unconditional support for a thugocracy.
This isn't for Israels benefit, as much as it is for our own weapons contractors here.
See, the military industrial complex is corporate welfare, we give them untold sums of money, whereby they give a little back in way of lobbying and buying political favoritism by investing in campaigns of politicians, they in turn sign off on this kind of giving our tax dollars away to foreign countries to buy those US made weapons, giving them even more money with which to lobby Congress even more, this is the way it has always worked.
It's also this kind of corporate welfare and defense contracting cronyism that's led to some gross overspending on junk programs that throw away tens-of-billions of dollars at a time, like the missile defense shield, the F-22 and F-35 (which don't hold a candle to Russian jets in recent military exercises), ineffective body armor (Interceptor over Dragon Skin), or having one of the worst standard rifles for our military in terms of performance and cost and reliability. We're not getting out of our military what we're putting in on spending, it's ridiculous.
Amazingly, Israel cares about it's defense, which is why they actually have an Israeli designed Iron Dome which actually works unlike US made missile defense systems. They also have anti-RPG systems for their armor and vehicles and have for more than the last decade. We could have bought this to protect US troops in Iraq, instead we gave money to US contractors to develop their own, which they haven't. Know anybody killed in a RPG attack in Iraq or Afghanistan, that was an easily avoidable death. US politicians and the military industrial complex doesn't give a shit about them.
Right now, the 2 state solution is currently unfeasible.
The 2-state solution is unfeasible because the illegal settlements in the West Bank have rendered a viable Palestinian state impossible. That's by design, of course, because Israel's leadership doesn't want a 2-state solution. It wants a single, ethnically-cleansed state.
