Well we knew that was coming. Guarantee it's happen more than just this one time. She should be prosecuted.

I'm no lawyer, but I don't think she can be prosecuted for this. Also, lol Fox News.
She can.

Violated security protocol which lead to classified and sensitive materials to be accessed to the public? Everybody that deals with sensitive information has to sign waivers and such agreeing they'll be held accountable if they are negligent to the material. I'm a network engineer/pen tester for a cloud based security company that hosts applications and networks. If I did what she did I'd be arrested for espionage and possible treason.
If she wasn't Hillary Clinton she would have been arrested months ago. But she is so she won't be.
I'm thinking the same thing. The FBI has 141 agents building a case against her and they have a ton of actual evidence already set up for a court case. Who knows how it's going to play out.
She should be prosecuted because she got hacked? Yup, that makes total sense. The only way a case like this will work if she is shown to have classified information on them, and even then that's a stretch. The Bush administration used GWB43 servers ran by the RNC for years to do all executive emails and nobody went to jail for that. Nor did they go to jail when they purged all their email data to avoid accountability in various affairs like internal emails leading up to 9/11, outing of Valerie Plame, communications about torture. They didn't prosecute anybody then, and Bush's reign of terror costed countless lives and trillions of dollars and destroyed nations, they won't do it here for Hillary especially when there's no smoking gun to anything as sinister.
She should be prosecuted because she got hacked? Yup, that makes total sense.
She used a private server in her closet instead of the secure one presented to her. She violated security protocols that contained sensitive information relating to our governments dealings. If you can't understand this, you're a lost cause.
She should be prosecuted because she got hacked? Yup, that makes total sense.
I can't believe how clueless some of you are. You're not even the first one in here to say that. She should be arrested for having classified data in a place she knew she shouldn't have.
She should be prosecuted because she got hacked? Yup, that makes total sense.
She should be prosecuted for putting classified information on her own server that had far weaker security protocols than the government server that she decided not to use in the interest of not being subject to the Freedom of Information Act. She put classified information at risk for the benefit of not having to be as transparent as she is legally supposed to be. Other politicians use similar tactics to avoid transparency, but they don't handle classified information.
@n64dd: oh yeah, she clearly didn't have the entire government's HR files on every government employee on her closet; what got leaked exactly? Like I mentioned in my expanded post above there's much worse cases of this done in past so why aren't you screaming bloody murder about it when it actually matters. I mean, what transparency is Hillary avoiding you're worried about, that she orchestrated Bengahzi and sends funny cat memes back and forward with ISIS? Good luck selling that brand of lunacy. I hate talking like this too, because I don't even like her for starters.
1) he accessed blumenthal's email via what sounds like a social engineering attack. that much it looks like it known2) he CLAIMS to have accessed clinton's server but so far has not offered any concrete evidence
so before we go creaming our pants in excitement that clinton should be hauled off in chains and we should anoint trump lord commander for all time, let's get all the information.

Bingo.
Many here are under the assumption she passed classified information through her emails. As far as I've read, it was sensitive at most, "sensitive" distinguishable from classified, and nothing illegal about sending it. However, she did pass information that would later become classified but wasn't considered such at time of its transmission. But again, this witch hunt isn't about anything Hillary did apart from her from using private servers for her job. So, it's a far cry from those who used private servers instead of govermwnt ones to set up torture opperations, lie us onto war, out CIA agents on purpose as political retaliation, borrow money from China to funnel to private contractors through no bidding process which BTW the VP had past business and financial ties with, or to account for executive attention paid to numerous warnings of mounting AL Qaeda attack that killed thousands, launches us into wars that have taken countless lives, desimated countries, still have us bogged down in some capacity overseas... I mean, real criminal shit. Why don't you Hillary email freaks spend a fraction of the energy you're spending on this on demanding accountability for that... oh, don't answer, it's a rhetorical queation, we all know the answer.

She's running to be the leader of this country and she's committed espionage and possible treason. She should be prosecuted.
Why do they even bother building a case against her when they know they won't do anything?
I'm not voting for Trump either, but I wouldn't be surprised if he won. All the crying about how he's Hitler aside, he's actually looking better in some ways. Less hawkish for one. Still some of the things he says are asinine or just abhorrent so i'll not vote for either of them.

"espionage" and "treason"? please
@lamprey263: If it is GOP high official, I bet you will 180 right there.
The reality is, she is secretary of United States. Anything she said that is remotely work related is classified by nature. Because they may be doing it for real. Yet to be classified email is a poor excuse. It could very well because she failed to classified the sensitive information in the first place (intentional or not).
So funny when a previous poster just posted an example of how the Bush administration did WORSE yet no one gave a shit.
I guess it is comforting to know that the GOP realizes how little chance it has at taking back the White House and is in total desperation mode. Trump being the nom just put the nail in their coffin.

Well, the only GOP officials I do bring up I do take exception with because their behavior is far more egregious and goes beyond just the use of private servers, but to some real cold criminal activity and dire consequences that resulted in his presidency and nobody has been held to account for it. The only double standard here is reality. All these anti-Hillary fanatics got is assertions that she passed classified information, which would be a crime if it happened; but no, technically didn't because it was never classified while being transmitted to or from her. And that's it, there's nothing sinister to go along with this story, no aim or motive to go with it. Not like "she passed on classified information to Al Qaeda so they would attack our embassy in Benghazi because Hillary works for Obama and Obama is secretly a Muslim radical Machurian Candidate who wants to destroy America and durrr....", seriously though they have nothing else to go with this story.
I don't like Hillary. It'd be far more productive if people who don't like her spent their time attacking her on policy points. Otherwise, people are just going to write off such attacks as coming from a lunatic conservative fringe.
#FeignedOutrage.
I'll tell you what, I'll get glad to prosecute Hillary once we're done with Bush and Cheney for the heinous shit they did. Deal?
@LostProphetFLCL: What does any of these has anything to do with GOP? So democrat's FBI can't even think this is wrong now? If you want to put Bush in jail, yes, go for it. Hillary is wrong is still wrong.
The point is Republicans are sitting here wanting to burn Hillary at the stake for something minor while they have turned a blind eye when their politicians have done MUCH WORSE things.
It is hilarious then that you try and act like the people supporting Hillary in this situation are hypocrites when in fact the opposite is true.
Since Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee, he now gets intelligence briefings from our nation's intelligence apparatus. Does anyone trust him to not spout off classified information on national tv on accident? Hilary is criminally negligent, but politicians routinely get off for far worse, so I dont see someone like her who is deeply entrenched in the halls of power to suffer any judicial reprisal, deserved or not.
@lamprey263: Keep spin it.
Where's the spin? She didn't commit a crime insofar as she hasn't been shown to pass actual classified material through private email servers, and she certainly didn't do it with any sinister ulterior motives. Whereas in the instance I bring up both have been committed but from the right wing fringe who has been pushing this Hillary email story it's been nothing but crickets, showing this attack to be nothing but politically motivated in its construction. There's no spin there, that's just the way things are. Anybody who doesn't have their head up their ass and can read between the lines knows everything from Benghazi to the Hillary emails is just the GOP out there trying to delegitimize her before the elections because they really don't have anything else but Donald Trump to throw at the Democrats for this election.

She did commit a crime by violating the security protocols put in place by the government. If you worked in the IT security end of the world you would understand this.

So a crime is only a crime if you punish somebody else in the process? You people are lost.
If she wasn't Hillary Clinton she would have been arrested months ago. But she is so she won't be.
This. At this point she could murder without consequence.

I would never consider myself a republican and I can clearly see that what Hillary Clinton did was not only wrong, but should probably be a criminal offense. At the very least it should disqualify her from the presidency. Either she didn't know what she was doing and is too stupid to be president, or she did know what she was doing and shouldn't be president for being a corrupt piece of garbage. Which one is it?
It seems to me, that if it wasn'tHilary Clinton, (or if she was a republican), there would be none of this outrage. I hear no calls for Colin Powell nor Condoleeza Rice to be prosecuted for using personal e-mails.
All of this....is just a political show put on by the GOP...

congress need to focus on something to avoid doing their jobs.
@effec_tor:
I disagree....I think she will be a good president. Nearly every person who has occupied the presidency has been untrustworthy, but thanks to the internet everything she does is magnified. She has handled things well, like a president.
She will have my vote, I won't be distracted by right-wing propaganda. Trump is indeed a loose cannon.
The best thing that could happen for the democrats would be for the FBI to indict her so they can put a better candidate in her place. Donald Trump isn't that hard to beat. They can do way better than Hillary.
@sonicare:
That's bs......the worst possible scenario is if Hillary was out of the race, with Bernie you have someone who will get nothing done (even most Democrats in Congress don't lean that far left) and will be older than life expectancy in his 2nd term, with Trump you put the United States in a bad position with respect to the rest of the world, and he is the ultimate "I'm the greatest, love me" narcissist.
As I have said before Hillary has her issues, the same that most presidents would have magnified if the internet was around. But she is smart, tough, and presidential and can reach across the aisle to get positive things done.
I know a lot of you are young and perhaps a bit naive, but I'm sure you agree the best course of action is to vote in the candidate who will move the country in a positive direction, NONE of the candidates can be trusted so it's a non-issue, the focus should be on positive change.
So funny when a previous poster just posted an example of how the Bush administration did WORSE yet no one gave a shit.

Really? One example of bad behavior negates other bad behavior?
No matter how many people claim that calls to prosecute her are just part of a witch hunt to take her out of the running for the presidency, it doesn't change the fact that she violated policies in place by setting up a private server for work-related use. Even if nothing she put in there was classified at the time in itself, anyone that works with classified information should be fully aware of the aggregation effect when combing enough unclassified information.
The advantage Hillary has in this election is the fact that most young people either don't know or don't care of the potential damage that could have happened, or they feel that the potential damage of her being irresponsible with information is nothing compared to what would happen if Trump was in charge.
