Hitting a woman?(poll)

I'd hit a woman for pretty much the same reasons I'd hit a guy, there's no reason to be sexist about it.jrhawk42

Yeah good point, therein lies the double standard. Women. You want to be treated as equals like men treat other men? Expect to be hit in a situation where a man would hit another man. I had a whole other thread on this. The double standards of equality. Pisses me off.  You can't expect to be treated equally but ALSO have the car door opened for you, the chair pulled out at the table etc. Forget it!

When I was younger I had this girlfriend who thought it was funny to hit me in the balls, I was only a freshman in hs, and I said no way would I ever do anything back.

Of course the male victims are less likely to report it than a female victim, and the female perpetrator wouldn't get nearly as much jail time/ fine as a male perpetrator.  The legal system has serious double standards.ShuLordLiuPei

Not in the show I watched.  In the frontal part of the brain.  I woman ether has a smaller part or a larger part (can't remember which).  This causes aggression to be lower.  You are right, though, that a woman's aggression does rise in relationships.

What you said: two completely differents things the way I see it. Most women are phisically weaker than men and besides I have a sister, a mother, several female cousins and a truckload of aunts I would never want any one of them to be hit by a man the bottom line would be: it's a matter of karma to me.
