its true, i say poor lion. They arent supposed to be caged up and interacting with humans. Its a lions instinct to attack and supposed to be a humans instinct not to be an idiot and mess with a lion. Well that guy was an idiot and got what he deserved, to bad the lion had to die doing with it thought was natural. Maybe we should shoot the next person who kills a cow for food.

MY dog does a lot more than just eat and sleep .  

Things like this happen when the handlers aren't trained correctly.  They should have had a firearm anyway just in case and left the lion bleeding to death.
