that didnt look like no zoo to me, were they are fed, and treated like they are in the wild, that looked like it was caged for show, inside of a building, theres a big difference in a zoo and what that was.

That's no surprise. Honestly, what did you expect when you put a human in a cage with a huge lion? Gladiator time, or feeding time? Not only did the guy shot the lion, but he shot it about 4 or more times, then they left it to die to save the dude. These guys are trully unprofessional, I bet they could scare the lion off instead by shooting in the air rather then just killing it. This reminds me of King Kong for some reason.

Theres no reason not to save a lion, and I never said the guy should had been left to die. I do, however, bet he learned one hell of a lesson.

I can't believe there are people going "Poor lion!"!!! The guy was MAULED! I work in a zoo and let me tell you, if any animal was attacking a human, I would shoot it in an instant. Maybe it's the guy's job to get in the cage, you think? I get in animal cages, does that make me stupid? Does that mean I'm the one at fault if the animal turns on me and rips my arm off? Does that mean it's inhuman if I killed it to save my life or someone else's?GameBoy966

You would kill and shoot an animal instead of tranquilizing it? At your zoo i'm sure you have things prepaired for if something like this were to happen, but in this video there working with dangerous animals and have no means on hand to stop an attack? they could at least have tranquilizer and tazers or some other non lethal way to stop the lion. A tazer would have stopped that way sooner and the lion wouldnt have to have been killed for following its instincts.
