I drive a crysler neon and none of my gauges are working. The car has been running fine but this morning when i turned the ignition, the car would not start. I could not even hear a clicking noise so i know its not the battery.

Im worried its the fuel, is there a way to check how much is in the tank without the gauges working?

If you cant hear a clicking noise, then it is probably the battery...

...fuel does not just evaporate in your tank overnight. if it just stopped working this morning, why would it be your gas if you probably used the car yesterday? use ur head. why wouldn't it be the battery? also, if you realized ur gauges dont work, why don't you get them fixed? they're there for a reason.

Either way, it is an electrical problem, and not a fuel system problem. If the radio plays, then its either the starter, starter cylinoid, wire problem, or depending on the year it could just be a sensor problem. If your car is pre-1996, then its probably not a sensor. If it is a post-1996, then look and see if the check engine light is on. If the radio does not play, along with head lights not working, or even the dome light not working, then it is a dead battery.

Um try a small gas can and add a bit and see if it starts. and then take that thing to a shop and have it fixed.

Well... even if the battery is "dead," the radio and lights might still work. The amount of charge that the starter requires is a great deal more than that of the peripheral electronics. The last time my battery died, I almost didn't realize it was the problem, since my radio and lights worked just fine. But yeah, the opposite is true... if those don't work, then it's definitely the battery.
