Not for minors, it's a man getting shot, it's not graphic but minors shouldn't be watching that anyway.

How can anyone justify not executing these men? Why should they be given rights when they did not show the same to another? Why are they deserving of life when they took one so easily and for something as petty as a car? Why should only the families of one grieve and also live with the thought those criminals maybe given a second chance? Imo all these men should be hanged in the square, let all those little crooks see. Ever since we abolished physical punishment from schools and the death penalty our crime rate has soured, time to bring them back imo. (My country), and other countries should skip all the excessive paper work and appeals and start executing criminals faster. Limit it to 2 appeals and a maximum of 5 years on death row before execution.

Are, the usual appeal to emotion. You see, it's tremendously easy for anybody to support capital punishment - just use logic.

Logic would dictate that a justice system which executes its convicts and has a non-zero chance of arriving at a mistaken judgment would commit manslaughter eventually, hence giving you the rather complicated situation where your men of law are criminals. Logic would also dictate that as the accuracy of your due process increases to 100%, the financial and time requirements increase. Logic also does not consider subjective and emotive arguments such as "he deserves it!" or "the families should be compensated!" as points which actually have a tangible basis, hence they are inadmissible points by default.

So, basically, for the sake of not having to deal with the immense problem of trying to find an ideal balance between the cost of due process and accuracy, we simply don't kill them - we use the alternative, life imprisonment. The effect that's actually tangible and thus relevant is pretty much the same - the criminal can't do anything to harm society ever again.

Because the system allows people to disagree with it to some extend.

Well and because we feel that the current system makes sense (trust me it doesn't).

And because the current system is imperfect. (Humans are involved with the system.)

And it's because we feel that the people who do bad things can be made clear that they shouldn't do those things. (Which sometimes actually works.)

Not everyone agrees with a destructive mentality. Some want to make the world better. Or believe we shouldn't be the one judging life and death.
