How close are you to your cousins & extended family?

^ as the title says, how close are you with your uncles, aunts, and your cousins?

I have a lot, more than 20+ cousins. Although most of them usually are very close to each other I'm not very close with them being the social awkward person I am. I haven't seen them in years, and when I do, its quite awkward as I know my friends and common colleagues more than I know them. My aunts and uncles usually just know i'm related to them by name, but I haven't seen them in years either.

I'm just close to my mom and dad and my siblings, not the rest of my family who carry my last name. Its so sad.

not close at all.. havent seen most of them in years

Not very close apart from immediate family and grandmother on my mothers side, the rest we see them on special occasions but thats about it.

Not close. I spend years without seeing them and ever since I moved to the Netherlands I haven't seen (or missed) any of them at all...

some cousins i'm close with and see multiple times a year and various family gathers. others i have not seen in a while since they live further away.

Not at all.

Not close at all.. we all live far away. don't really get to see them. see pics some of them on Facebook that's about it.

Not close enough.

Aunt, uncle and cousins on my father's side I only see thrice a year so we're not really close. Those on my mother's side live in the same neighborhood as me so I feel closer to them though I don't see them as much as I "should".

I haven't even met my cousins.

I only ever see two of them and I haven't gone beyond basic niceties with either in years.

Not close at all. I haven't talked to or seen most cousins in years. A few aunts/uncles/ cousins I see once a year and some that live out of state I have never seen ever.

I'm only close to my cousins in mother side ..... because they are young at mind and crazy ... just like those guys in jackass.... and they are free spirited and always full of sarcastic jokes.

My father side however ... they are too serious like people from the sixties .... even the youngest cousin behave like an old man and closer to my father rather than me (obviously ... lol)... .... and I even cant use the F and S word in front of them.

They are invisible to me.

Me neither I don't keep in touch with any of them.

I'm close to my family and in-laws. The latter includes in-laws of my cousins. Good thing my kin married folks with decent families and not some scumbag.

They make up the majority of my FB contacts.

Not at all. Because of family issues.

I don't associate with TV and government lovers.
