anyways there are some black people out there that are in metal bands like for a example check out the death metal legends Suffocation Mike Smith the Drummer he is black and Steve Jones Guitar player from The Faceless is also black there are some black people out there that like black and those black people are better then the ghetto ones

There is plenty wrong with it:

1. It is superficial and ugly. Worst of all, its vain. I am not talking about nice rice rockets with practical spoiler on them. I am talking about a working car from a junk yard with a piece of welded aluminum on it. Saying there is nothing wrong with it is like saying there is nothing wrong with putting a flock of pink plastic flamingos in your yard, or having a fat neighbor sunbathing in the front yard with his thong on. Is there anything wrong with it, per se? No, but it is completely tasteless.

2. Its costly. I grew up with Hispanics my whole life; I went to school with them, played soccer with them, and hung out with them after school. I see how a lot of them live, and they live in poverty. I often wonder if they really needed to live in poverty a lot of the time when their dads waste money on stupid, pointless stuff. I dont look at a guy in such a car and think "well, at least he is happy"...I look at him and go "well, there goes two years of college down the drain".

You know I am catching a lot of flack for this, so let me make myself clear:

I DO NOT HATE PEOPLE NOT MY RACE.

I do not hate Hispanics, I dislike the people that perpetuate the negative stereotypes of their race (i.e. the ones driving the cars with tacked on aluminum crap and mismatched wheels)

I do not hate African-Americans, but I dislike the bling-bling culture, vanity rap, and "oh I am from the hood I cant grow out of that mentality even tho the NFL has given me 30 million dollars" stuff that perpetuates the negative stereotypes of their race.

Wake up, people. We dont live in a fantasy world. Not everyone is equal. Some people are scum, some are perfectly legit, and some are saints.

The way I see it is this:

You got black people, and you have (derogatory word for black person)

You have Hispanics, and you have (derogatory word for Hispanic)

You have homosexuals, and you have (derogatory word for homosexual)

You have whites, and you have (derogatory word for whites)

etc, etc...

If you want to hate me and call me a racists for seeing the world as it is in all its fantastic grey glory, go ahead. I made peace with this a long time ago. But I do not hate people, period.

Anyway...I think the TC answered his own question when he said that most people in general don't like metal.

Like, I'm black, and I don't like metal. In general, I don't like metal. There might be a few metal songs that I like. But people who actually like metal would probably classify that as "pop metal" rather than "real metal".

And that's sort of my point. Personally, I don't like metal because I've had little to no exposure to metal. I usually learn about new music from the people who I associate with. And since none of them (black, white, asian, or hispanic) tend to listen to any metal, I don't know jack **** about metal. Since I don't know anything about it, and don't get much if any exposure to it, I don't listen to it.
