What? No... Don't ask a girl what her goals in life are. That's totally random. Just start with talking about the class you're in. Ask for help on homework even if you don't need it, and more importantly, if a girl needs help, try your best to point her in the right direction.

I didn't mean to randomly ask a girl "so what are your goals in life?" You're right that would be random:P but I meant ask a girl, what she wants to do for a profession, and her plans once she gets out of school. Girls like it when you take an interest in them.

Or if you don't want to complicate things the easiest line to say is "Does this rag smell like Chloroform to you?":P

From what you just wrote, I think I know why you can't talk to girls anymore. You are afraid of rejection, and that's perfectly normal. But you can't be afraid, talk about anything, ask them a question about themself. Something like "where did you grow up", or "what are your goals in life". From asking questions like this you can gain "common ground" by finding something you two have in common. Just try that, then the next time you see her, bring up something else to talk about, you'll get good at it, trust me.

Her "Yeah it was, I think I did okay. How about you?"

See what I mean, you can start with anything. The first conversation can be the hardest, but next time you see her, it should be easier to talk about something cause you already know her a little. The more you guys talk the more comfortable you'll get. Sometimes, listen to what girls talk about when their around each other, and you can pick up something that interests them and bring it up in your conversation. But be confident, the worst a girl can say to you is No, so don't fear rejection, it happens to everyone.

ok, the problem about sharing interests with people is that i dont really have any hobbies or interests. i only do my school work, play videogames, watch tv, go outdoors, watch movies, and i dont have a car and i dont participate in any clubs. Tooweet

Don't do drugs, work on your grades, consult a doctor if you really think if you're depressed, and about the nervousness...maybe you just need to talk to more people?unholymight

You don't have to smoke with them, but you can start skating again if you want. And the only way to reverse it is by talking to people face to face.

Just say Whats up or Whats going on if she wants to talk she'll say something that you can build off of. If she doesn't say anything worthy of a conversation eg. "Nothing", then 1. she doesn't want to talk right now, which in this case try to talk to her when she is in a good mood. or 2. she doesn't want to talk to you.G-U-N-N-3-Y
