How come 'murica suck at their own sports except handegg?

Everyone in the world care about football but yet even though almost no one except for 'murica cares about baseball(lol) 'murica gets its ass spanked by Cuba.

In Ice hockey, Russia and Canada and even countries like Sweden, Finland and Czech Republic are better. And that's basically the only countries in addition to 'murica that gives a sh*t about it.

In basketball 'murica is not SObad I guess but Yugoslavia/Serbia or something has them beat.

Even in Handegg Japan beats America.

You people have 4 sports that no one cares about except for you. You are >300 million people. Yet you barely manages to kinda be ok in one of them (basketlol).

First of all the US had the best Basketball players. Secondly we have American Football, but the only other league outside of the US that I'm aware of is in Canada. And even so, these are just games, which main purpose is to provide fun and finances to the players and entertainment to the fans. Also, I didn't know you were into trolling.

Yes inventing something that nobody in the entire world wants to play is quite impressive.

World Cup Football is seen by whole world and is much more popular worldwide than any US sports as 32 countries are playing in it , including US. Please don't compare US sports to World Cup Soccer . No disrespect to US sports , they quite awesome but i laugh at people saying they much better than soccer.

In the US, the sports players are highly saturated among various different kinds of sports. In most parts of the world, specifically third world countries, there's soccer and that's about it (you basically just need a ball). In the US, some play baseball, some play basketball, some play football, some play lacrosse, some play hockey, and some play soccer. Point? There's a shit ton of popular sports in the US making the athletic talent quite divided.

If America wanted to, they would dominate soccer easily. But our best athletes play Basketball/Baseball/Football.

Even though I hear stories about how youth soccer is on the rise(thanks to Hispanics in US), kids are still lured towards Basketball/Baseball/Football.

I understand all that of but I still think it's weird. And winners of the Superbowl and NBA Finals do unofficially get called that at times, whether it be on DVDs, t-shirts, or other memorabilia. The UEFA Champions League is literally the peak of soccer but you don't see the winners calling themselves the "Champions of the World" or anything silly like that.

I don't really care I was just suggesting to the OP a better angle if he wanted to troll people on here lol.

In the US soccer is a game used to entertain our children and teach them sportsmanship, teaching them the basics until they are old enough to get into real sports i.e. Baseball, basketball, hockey and football.

Soccer is a pain to watch, it's boring, players flop worse than basketball players. If you want to watch someone struggle to score for 90 minutes, just take TC or one of your friends to a bar it'd be way more entertaining!

We play American football because we can, soccer (or commie football) is popular everywhere else because it's the one sport you really need nothing more than barren land, a ball, and a few rocks or trash cans to set the goal boundaries. Any schmuck in any third world hellhole can like soccer, hence its universal appeal.
