Frankly I wouldn't mind hearing more about Sweden. In fact, we (non-American users at the very least) should start talking less about America and more about some other interesting countries.

On a somehow different note I can't see a shirt with that photo on being indicative of good fashion sense. I imagine it would look dumb but maybe I'm wrong.

Now, out of all your posts that speak specifically to, in regard to a country, or in a thread aimed at a specific country, how many do you wager are aimed at the US vs other countries? Just browsing your post history that answer is pretty evident. So coupled that with your clear disdain, it's pretty obvious there's an unhealthy obsession.

If America wanted to, they would dominate soccer easily. But our best athletes play Basketball/Baseball/Football.

Even though I hear stories about how youth soccer is on the rise(thanks to Hispanics in US), kids are still lured towards Basketball/Baseball/Football.

Now if the topics that other member make in OT pertain predominantly to the U.S that's not my fault. I shouldn't be held accountable for the preferences of others. If I don't post in these topics then I would be rarely posting in OT if at all. I guess that's one of the downsides of frequenting a forum that is overwhelmingly populated by Americans.

This is precisely why I constantly speak of the U.S as opposed to examining other countries, be it Sweden or any other. If you go back to my post history you will find out that I've never ever made a topic relating to the U.S.

There's no flaw, by in large when you post about specific countries, even in thread not about a specific county, it's still about the US. You choose what and where to post, nobody is forcing you. It's time to face the music...you have an unhealthy obsession with the US.

Nothing else really needs to be said. Frankly, I don't even care about this kind of stuff as I am not a rah rah my country/city/state/college sports guy, but the premise of the thread is so woefully misinformed it's actually fairly comical.

Reason why America gets so much hate on this forum is because many of the people resent the top country, just human nature for them to be a bit jealous of another countrys greater prosperity and influence in the world. We have our share of problems, no question, but we are still are the overall best country in the world, indisputable, but I'm sure those who can't face that will continue to try to convince themselves they have it as good.

Soccer spread so widely because all you need is a ball (good for developing countries) and because of colonialism. Congratulations. It's even more boring to watch than baseball. And I played high school soccer and club soccer (since I was 8). The only reason Americans watch it during the World Cup is because it's like the Olympics. Hardly anyone watch swimming or track and field for non-Olympics events.

I find it hilarious and somewhat sad how Europeans get so upset when people don't like something they like. Why the fvck do you care? Most American's couldn't care less that you don't like Football or Baseball.

No offense but Australia , Asia , Europe , Africa , North America , South America plays soccer.
