That's probably because you haven't had much of a taste of either.

I listen to some death metal, but I just assumed the band in the OP was a really bad attempt at it.

There's still plenty of distinctions between both of those genres to the point where if you at least notice that one lacks enough of the qualities of the other, the best assumption would be that it's not what you originally thought it was.

Like I've said before, -core bands that draw metal influences tend to cause a lot of misconceptions like this, and as a whole, they usually give an unfavorable representation of what real metal sounds like.

grindcore like grindcore, if you don't like it don't listen to it, it not like someone is forcing you too. I don't like it (well atleast not that much) so I don't listen to it

I don't like 50cent and most of rap, but you don't see me bashing it do you? And I am certain I have more knowledge of rap then you of grindcore...

i find it funny that they have a censored and uncensored version of the song. I doubt that 99% of listener can figure out the singing in all that noise
