When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, I didn't really know how to use search engines or anything like that so I just typed in the thing I wanted inbetween www. and .com and hoped for the best. It just so happens, typing in www.videogames.com leads to this site
I popped into GS one day and decided to stay here. Actually I searched for some cheats and game info then decided to join the site. One and a half years later I made my first post. I joined the site about three years ago.
I was looking for a game guide to FFIX as I was stuck on a boss on like the first disk, and someone I knew from school told me to go to www.gameguides.comi found what i was looking for and thought nothing of it for a while. A few years later my cousin was at my house and he had brought his ps2 and his copy of GTAIII. We were wondering what kinds of cheats were available for it so i went back to my gameguides.com and whaddaya know? I ended up on gamespot! the url still brings you to the homepage haha
I was sick of using ***** Code Central for *****s so i checked stuff out on google and i found GS. That was about3 years ago now and it was only mid last year that i made an account.
I went to return a game (Which didn't work properly) to a store with my grandma when I was a kid, and the guy there said to go to GS to find a patch for the game, which ended up fixing it. This was shortly after GS was born, 1997 I beleive...
