How did you meet your best friend?

I met my best friend of 14 years in pre-school. It was the first day and the teacher had us sit in a circle and introduce ourselves. Before I sat down I walked over to him and asked him to be my friend. And has been ever since.

I actually don't have a best friend. :( I mean, I have friends, of course, just not a real best friend. Y'know?

My best friend I met 15 years ago my first day of school. I was crying when my mom left and he tried to cheer me up telling me she would be back later in the day. We have been best friends ever since. lol

Its been 15 years since crying my first day of school and I still can't live it down amongst my friends. :P

Our parents are great friends. We were best friends even before we started school.

I actually have a few best friends that I am really close to. :)

Depends on which one :P. It seems like I go through phases in life, and typically my circle of friends is adjusted accordingly.

His sister worked for me at my book store and she recommended him when she left to go teach as he had just finished up with his language studies. I interviewed him and we just hit it off right away and spent the entire time talking about video games, movies and all things Japanese.

My best friend actually asked me out about 18 months ago :P.

I had just finished High School and she got one of her friends to ask for my number. We dated for a couple weeks but we were different people and it didn't work. About two months after we just started hanging out, and for the past year we've hung out at least 3-4 times a week. I know most people never befriend those that they were originally going to go out with, but she gave me confidence and broke me out of my shell, and we will be lifelong friends.

I met him at university res. We had a mutual affinity for military flight sims, and that was the spark for the friendship.

I met him a couple of years ago when I stop following my only friend from my other schol because he started hanging out with douchebags.

One of my best friend was actually a bully who bullied me on the first day I went to a primary school in Australia.

I knew my best friend since kindergarten...then around 10th grade he stopped calling back and that was that..have no idea why..

Things have changed, like when me and my 5 best friends went to the same high school and we are all excited, then one by one, they started to ignore me and join with their own new friends. Well I still have one of my old best friend left, which I don't think he'll walk away. Oh and I made lots of new friends and best friends too.

We got into a conversation in 3rd grade one day and it just clicked, he is awesome and he is Jamaican, he also has dreadlocks.

In school. We were the class clowns.

Both of them in year 8.

I was moved to sit next to her in Geography in year 9. I thought she was a right weirdo.

Luckily she felt the same and 11 years on we're still right weirdos together.

in a virtual bar :lol: it was four years ago on habbohotel, i went into the room and just started talking to her. ever since then our friendship grew and we got very close the beginning of last year. i couldn't ask for a better best friend.

Back in like grade 1. Ironically, both him and I had the same last names, and our birthdays were in the same month. He always cheered me up and invited me to play with his friends, so yeah.

I haven't seen him for a long time ever since he went to a different middle school, though.

We were in 7th grade, I had no clue who she was, but she stopped me in the hall and asked me, "are you [my sister's name]'s brother?" I said, "yeah." then I got all nervous because a girl was talking to me, and I walked away. We really became friends later in Highschool, and have been really close over the past year. Needless to say I've gotten over my fear of talking to girls... a while ago lol!
