I truly have no idea how I came to use this name...I created this account in 2003 (was 13) and just had to think of SOMETHING. And now I still find myself checking the forums/website daily 7 years later. I usually use FLIPmode as my alias in videogames (no relation to buster rhymes or whatever that rapper's name is).
Mine comes from an old nickname I picked up in high school. I was on the junior soccer team in my first year, and one day we practiced with the seniors. The seniors didn't know my name, but I was the only junior with a beard. The nickname spread really quickly and stayed with me until I was out of high school. Many of the people I know still refer to me as Beard rather than my real name rather often, and I've grown to like the nickname quite a bit.
Name was derived from email which came from people saying I was an odd child, 666 came from my immediate distate of religion. Differs from my online gaming name though.
I am Polish, and I am related to Polish royalty. Plus a lot of people call me King. Would be cool if I could change it to WodkaKrol, Due to my love of wodka and ...krol is still King.
i found a website that gives metal gear code names based on your first and last name. i gave the said names, and i got ironbeaver. interestingly enough, anyone with my last name had iron as the first word.
I really have no clue. It all started awhile ago after I saw a hazard sign in Half-Life, and named myself on CS 1.6 "Deadlyhazard." From then on, I've made screen names related to: Deadlyhazard, Lethalhazard, and Cruelhazard. It's just one of those spontaneous things and it works for me.
There was a period in time where you were able to change your username at will, and I changed it about every two weeks trying to find something that stuck. Then one day, I thought, "I'm just plain Lucas." The rest is history.
