How do American people generally have no accent?

I didn't even realize that we didn't have an accent until my teacher in high school said it. But why don't we have British accents? And if we don't have accents who else talked liked us before America was founded? I dont know its always bugged me and its probably a dumb question but i wanna know...also, why are british people generally uglier than the rest of teh world? Not to be mean but it really seems like it

we have AMERICAN accents. you don't notice it becuase you're american. other people from other countries notice it.

We DO have an accent; my best guess as to why it doesn't seem like that is because that's the one we're around all the time, so we don't notice. I wonder if British people are as conscious of their accents as Americans.

everyone has an accent, you just don't realize it because they talk the same as you, just like how british or other people don't consider the way they talk an accent, but when you see a british guy in america you immediately notice their accent, because it stands out.

"Attractive" is a cultural term, so even if British girls do have flat asses and different proportions doesn't really mean they aren't attractive. Maybe that's the attractive thing in Britain.
