wow. those are actually not that bad (funny, not a good plan to ask a girl out, especially if she is smart enough to understand them but still funny) i'd personally laugh at the guy who said that and walk away but that's just me...

for TC just ask, something small like a dinner and a movie. you can talk over dinner and get to know each other a little bit more which is important. besides i promise you that most girls are just as nervous about how guys feel about them. they just hide behind their attitudes to keep themselves safe from rejection. (that and some girls are just really *****es) don't worry if one says no, there will always be more girls for you. and like the serious people have said be confident. though some girls do find it cute when you are flustered.... good lucks
