how do you create broken glass effect in photshop?

Sort of like that one? does anyone have a link to a tutorial that i can use? BTW i hate 50 cent. BLACK WALL STREET.

Sorry, I've never tried to make broken glass, but a quick Yahoo! search provided this tutorial:

Only thing is, that tut is for text, but I trust if you tried the same steps on a non-text layer, the same effect would be accomplished.
