How do you feel about UFOs?

I'm asking a very broad, general question, because I want to get an idea of how people here at Gamespot feel about the whole phenomenon. Feel free to comment! My personal feeling on it is that we have far more evidence of UFOs/Aliens here on Earth than we sometimes have to convict people of murder. I think they are here, and have been here for a very long time. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, and I'd rather this didn't turn into a big argument thread.. but I'm sure it will. :P

My ideas on it would probably be laughed at here, but I think it's entirely possible that extra terrestrials have been visiting this planet since ancient times, and may have even planted the seeds of early civilization. There is is evidence out there to support this, and while it doesn't confirm aliens visited us, it is evidence that can't be dismissed or explained by current scientific understanding.

UFO- unidentified flying object.

To most people: UFO- aliens are here! ahhh! we must tell everyone!

A jet that we don't at the time know what is, is a UFO. Aliens may be here but we wouldn't know it. I don't care either way.

I agree with you on this. I think that the Bible and other ancient texts actually talk about this. There are tons of things around the globe that indicate (but don't prove) that there were more advanced technologies at work here thousands of years ago.

i sometimes feel like OT is a big Merry Go Round...no matter how long you ride it you always end up at the same point, and if your on it long enough you may feel a little dizzy. case in point your post Engrish :P

tc i once shouted out into the night sky for a UFO to come pick me up, but alas it did not happen. so if aliens are here on Earth i would have to say they don't have the sense of hearing. that is all :D

I fully believe that UFO's exist, wheather they've been to this planet or not i have no idea.

I don't understand why people think the idea of more advanced races visiting Earth is so far-fetched. It doesn't seem far-fetched at all to me. The universe is way too big for something like this to seem far-fetched. There are wonders that we can't begin to explain, yet we either try to explain them, or just accept them. I think there is way too much evidence to dismiss the idea of E.T. presence on and around Earth. I could possibly buy the idea that UFOs might be some sort of advanced, classified military projects.. except for the fact that they've been reported and included in paintings for hundreds if not thousands of years.. well before we had any aircraft at all.

that was my intention all along.

I just can't believe that some people still believe Rosewell had an alien landing. Even after the autopsy film was exposed long ago to be an obvious fake with mock up dummies

cut by guys who did not even make a good pretense of being real doctors. In my Air Force time I did a little research and the likelihood is that was an experimental air craft that crashed. I found that there were a couple of the early trials using what they learned from the German jet craft technology that did not work out so well and were never publicized. The flight probably came from one of the undisclosed bases in the south west - I did work at a couple of them because I had a high clearance.

I doubt aliens have ever come to Earth, and if they ever do it would probably be very bad for humanity..
