How do you feel when people ignore/block your friend requests?

Whether it be here on Gamespot, or on something like Facebook, or on another site... How does it make you feel when someone rejects your friend request, knowing full well that you took the time to find them and add them? Hmm?

Honestly to me I just get confused if it's someone I know, and I don't care if it's someone random.

Most of the time I don't send them out. If someone tracks me then I'll track them back as a courtesy.

So in other words...I'm indifferent about it.

Aww, this thread made me feel guilty :(. But I don't care if people don't add me...

I've been to other sites that have similar friends system and I've had a lot of experience with people who just add you to get a bigger friend's list or so they can send you tons of club/union invites. So I only add those people I recognize, I ALWAYS add people who ask first, whether it's in the forums or by PM.

And maybe that makes the people who I've added feel more special :P

If you randomly send friend requests to people that don't know you on GS, are you shocked that they ignore them?

It hurts a little, I've sent messages to people I hadn't talked to in forever and never gotten anything back, I've sent requests and I've got nothing too. It sucks, but I try not to dwell on it.ElectronicMagic

If I know them, I would definitely send them a 'polite' request message.

And I don't add random people. But if someone tracked me, I'll track back as a mutual courtesy gesture.

I ignore them all the time...:? Im not going to add people I dont recognize. Not sorry.

I dont send friend requests often, but when I do they are accepted because I have talked to the person before.
