I've never sent a friend request on Gamespot. Yet somehow I've managed to rake up 99 friends

On gamespot there are still a few friend request that people havent accepted yet but i dont think a big deal about it. But on either friendster or facebook, people always accept my friend request even if it took them a week to accept it.

It has happened to me a number of times here on Gamespot. Sometimes I can't sleep at night for all the crying.

I really don't care if someone ignores my friend request; but I don't send much friend's request as I used to but I usually add people who add me to their friends list.

Doesn't bother me since I don't track people unless they track me first. :P

Well, let me split my take into three parts: incoming requests, outgoing requests, and keeping friends.

Incoming requests: You'll immediately get denied if I have no idea who you are, but if you start commenting in my blogs regularly, I may reconsider. If I see you regularly and you seem like a friendly person, then yes, you'll most likely get the friend message.

Outgoing requests: Hardly ever happens. You have to be very well-liked by yours truly to get a request from me. I have high standards ;)

Keeping friends: I have known a few people who tracked me (and I tracked back) but stopped tracking me after some time... it baffles me why they'd want to take me off sometimes, but most of the time it's because I don't comment in their blogs often enough. (Hey, sometimes I get lazy.) The only time I got a "mass desertion" was when I threatened to leave back in February (but let's not get into that.)

/spiel

In a nutshell, I occasionally accept incoming requests, but almost never send 'em.

I don't add people on here anymore, and I don't get any friend requests either.

If it's my friends then I'll ask them why, and I don't mind if they say like "I'm getting a new E-Mail" fair enough, but otherwise there loss ;)

I really don't expect anyone to track me back. It's their business who they track. I'm happy enough to find someone worth tracking.
