My friend is 16 and he has one. How do u, I thought you had to be 18 years or older.

I don't use ebay, can't you just lie when you make your account and say you're over 18? yeah you probably can use your CC

I made one when i was 16, just said i was 18 and used my own card, never had any problems buying or selling.

When you make an eBay account they expect you to have read, understood and agreed to their terms of agreement. That way when you declare your date of birth they expect you to be honest about it and should someone report you for being underage and having your account disabled then its your own fault.

Mind you pretty much anyone under the age of 18 only ever uses their parents credit card, i still laugh about the story i read of a 13 year old using all of his parent's credit cards to bid on a helicopter. He didn't check up to see did his bid win and when the helicopter was delivered at his parents house he **** bricks.

In theory you dont. In practice just get your parents to make an account for you.

Anyway, I would recomend waiting untill you HAVE a credit card.
