How does illegal immigration affect YOU?

the people there just want to make a better life for their families and themselves. I'm not saying they're smart (far from it) or that they're entitled to just go there, but racism isn't right either. The US needs the immigrants to do certain jobs "true americans" won't do for $6 an hour. Your country needs the work of immigrants as much as they do.jm4847

I have no problems with legal immigrants. I have a major problem with those who come here illegally.

Well you said let them all in and that all men are created equal. And no, most crimes in poorer parts of mexico cannot be stopped. When I was in Rio Bravo, Mexico, I asked about crime here and they said its just something they get used to and can do nothing about.

I gotta put in another edit....I don't know where you get your stuff from....but ethnic-specific lodging? Try financial situation for certain ethnicities, bud. When people congregate to certain areas for cheaper housing, it isn't to live with the "same colored people," it's because they just happen to be in the same situation as their fellow human with that tone of skin color. Illegal immigration is one thing, you're speaking of something far more sinister.

While I don't support trafficing drugs, I do support people improving their lives, and if they have to enter a country illegally to do so, then oh well, if it wasn't so difficult to get in, it wouldn't be a problem.yoshi-lnex

I don't know how long you've been living...nor does it matter...unless it's longer than illegal immigration has been at the top 10 of the nation's things to deal with...but anyways...

The point of the "newcomers" phrase was to emphasize that since Caucasians more or less..ran the U.S. after its founding until these fellows started to realize what-was-what, at some point you (I'm just assuming here) have gathered enough credible info to make a claim that throughout America's entire history, people of certain ethnic origins have closed themselves off, essentially, to get cheaper, better or whatever kind of housing than those of "Anglo decent," specifically...instead of other reasons, like....violence (polic brutality is one of them, not just the community going postal) based solely off of ethnicity vs ethnicity (Basically the state of the country until the feds decided to give equal rights for people of different skin color...)...or luck of the draw (people of.....green skin tone live in a trailer park by chance) :|
