[QUOTE="The_Ish"][QUOTE="camreeno360"]Wouldn't you at least try it if someone offered you just 10 bucks? Seeing the weird stuff the guy eats on Man vs. Wild, what it so wierd sounding about eating dog? Or is it just "inhumane" because dogs are pets and we can't picture someone eating one? I would go for it. :oMrGeezer
Because as much as they might annoy us for being animals, dogs are mankind's best friends. When the human race crawled out of the bushes, dogs were the first animals to befriend us. Even if they cannot understand many simple human gestures of human kindness, we at least owe it to this species of canine to not treat them like crap or eat them for monetary advantage or when other food is available.
Edit: I apologize if this was too sappy for OT...>_>
That's a load of crap. Do you have any idea how many times i;ve seen dogs try to KILL PEOPLE just for walking down the street?
Seriously, how many times have you been walking down the street minding youjr own business and being suddenly and unexpectedly attacked by a spider or a squireel?
Spiders don't do that crap. Snakles don't do that crap. Squirreels don't do that kind of crap.
But dogs DO. Dogs (PET dogs) KILL children just for walking to school.
So don't you DARE try to tell me that dogs are "man's best friend". I can "befriend" a Komodo Dragon if I put enough effort into it, but that doesn't make them a species that you want to take lightly.
So we don't owe it to them for rescuing people, keeping us safe, finding drugs to stop drug dealers, and just being plain old loyal companions just because some rabid, stray, and uncared for dogs attack people?
They are animals, and when raised with humans, are more loyal than even most humans are.
